In summary

Mays Landing Golf Club receives mixed feedback from visitors. While many appreciate the friendly staff, good food, and decent course layout, there are significant concerns about the course's maintenance, with frequent reports of poor conditions on the greens and fairways. Additionally, some guests mention issues with the lack of amenities and high pricing relative to the course quality.

One star because zero stars isn't an option. Paid $41 to play a Saturday late morning. Course is in atrocious shape. Just downright embarrassingly horrible. The other recent reviews are all accurate; we should have checked them beforehand. Called pro shop after first hole to ask about a refund because it was so terrible. They said we had to talk to golfnow since we booked through them and that was all we had as an option. No attempt at correcting the situation. Asked them if I was supposed to call golfnow and tell them the course was in terrible shape and they said "yeah". Figured I'd let othe…

Friendly staff! The food is amazing! Great place to host a party or event. Course is in great shape and the tavern has great drink specials.

Needed to switch courses last minute due to schedule conflicts and settled on Mays Landing, despite the negative reviews. Big mistake, especially at their price range ($75). The front 9 is a nightmare. I think there’s more sand, weeds, and overgrowth where it shouldn’t be than actual grass on the course. The course is poorly maintained and unkept. T boxes are terrible, greens were ok but varied from hole to hole, littered with pebbles and dog feces (no expert in this field but appeared to have been sitting there for a while and not a recent deposit lol). Noticed a lot of people walking their d…

Staff were polite and helpful, the course has taken a beating over the summer and many of the greens are in poor condition as well as the fairways. The tee boxes though were in great shape in most cases! It still was a great course for the price and am sure it will be back in great shape for the fall. We were surprised that there was no restaurant or food venue available on site!

I did not have high expectations because of some reviews; but I really liked the course. There are some areas which need work, especially the bunkers, but overall the fairways are fine and the tees and greens were in good shape. The layout was challenging enough, but not punishing. Accuracy was important as there is not much rough to keep the balls out of the woods, but well struck balls got a lot of good and true roll. I paid $50 with a cart and thought it was well worth it. I will go back.

This course gets horrible reviews for some reason. The course is not the most manicured I have ever played but it certainly is not as bad as the reviews make it out to be. We drive down from the Philadelphia area and had a great time. The course wasn't too crowded and the pace of play was well managed. It was in decent shape for this time of year. I would definitely visit again.

Went here for a banquet, food and atmosphere were amazing. The room looked out over the golf course, it really highlighted how well kept the place was. However the employees were pretty rude toward the end of the night. More specifically the banquet manager, upon asking her more about the facility I felt as if I was bothering her as the answers were full of sarcasm and attitude. I definitely won't be back!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The greens were destroyed, the fairway could hardly be considered a fairway. There were about 3 holes that were remotely playable. This would all be remotely acceptable if they didn't charge you $70 to play this track. In reality they should pay you to play here. Per Mr. Sicinski's 2019 Review, the course is effectively the same, no improvements have been made and the price is outlandish.

It honestly seems like they have done nothing to keep this course in anywhere close to decent shape. Paid 70 for a course that did not have fairways, just dirt and sand. The greens on the front nine are nonexistent. Greens on the back 9 are a bit better but the fairways ruin the back nine since your always hitting out of sand where fairway should be. Your better off at Hamilton trails for a cheaper rate and a better course.

Booked a group of 4 with no issues. Got there staff was professional and we had gotten on 10 minutes ahead of our time. Unfortunately the course was in absolutely terrible shape. Half of the greens were burnt, on three holes the fairway matched the rough. Only a few of the sand traps were actually sand the others were like concrete. I paid $44 and it was not worth it all, not to mention no food served after 2:30. Our first time time there this year was a 4 star but this time around was not great at all.

We ate here for Easter as part of a brunch special and despite them putting my extra large family at two different tables where we couldn't even enjoy each other's company, we all seem to still have an amazing time. The food here was much, MUCH better than any other place I had been for brunch on a holiday. Would love to go back again soon!

Terrible Conditions. Bunkers are full of weeds and grass. I think for what they are charging it should be in much better condition. Save your money as it is only worth $25. I would say that the owners are not putting any money into the course but just taking the money. Go to another Course you will be much better off. Such a shame as it wasn't this way years ago.
