In summary

Meadows Golf Club of Blue Island is frequently praised for its good course conditions, with well-maintained fairways and greens, and a friendly staff. The course offers good value for money, with amenities like a driving range and clubhouse that are appreciated by many visitors. However, some criticisms include issues with pace of play enforcement and occasional mismanagement, as well as concerns about rough conditions and course layout during busy times.

This is a value for money course. The fairways were in good condition, the greens were soft and also in good condition. I've played golf in the USA many times and nearly all courses I've played I've found people haven't repaired their ball marks on the greens and it was the same here unfortunately. This of course is the players fault and not the golf clubs. The staff were friendly, plenty parking, decent driving range. There is a little pro shop which has the basics. I would play this course again.

This was the first time I played this golf course and I was blown away how nice it was. Fairways and Greens were in such Great shape I would put them up against some of the so called best courses in the area. Great job grounds Crew! The Bartender was also telling Us that They recently had upgrades done to the Clubhouse which looked really good. I will definitely be going back to this Track.

At $60 for 18 holes, you can’t do much better in the Chicago area. Difficult par 3s and easy par 5s. Hard to lose your ball here. I lost one. The carts don’t have GPS. And there’s no beer girl (yet). But there’s food, coffee and booze at the turn. Grass driving range and practice putting green on site.

Really love this golf course. Staff was extremely friendly when I came in. Course was in beautiful shape. I was told that there's new ownership. Highly recommend!

Cool staff, one of the only cheap courses where they make an effort to enforce pace of place, and they actually let you walk instead of ride. I love this place

One of the best bargain courses I’ve played in the area. Not particularly difficult, you can hit your ball a lot of places and be okay. Most greens guarded by a bunker or two, some are in better shape than others. Greens are mostly well kept and are pretty significantly sloped. Best part was the food and drinks in the clubhouse, absolute bargain on 🍺. I’ll be back.

For the price this is a 5 star course. Good greens, tightish fairways and real rough. Really liked it.

The course has greatly improved since last year. The fairways are not dried out anymore. The greens are in great condition. Forgiving course. We got off to a slow start, but the ranger was out throughout the day speeding up the slower groups. Will be coming back

Great local course with great value and solid features. For the price, they have a great assortment of hole designs, with good landscaping. The carts have a great caddy-book featuring layouts and tips. They clearly take pride in the course. Also impressed by the value at the clubhouse, we got a brat, pretzel, chips, and a tall local beer for about $14 on the turn. If the green fee was much higher, I might complain about the water logged spots and slightly rocky/wet bunkers, but there was a flash flood a few days ago so hard to knock it for that. Driving range is real grass and well maintained.…

Played here Sunday morning. Our foursome finished the round in 4 hours 7 minutes with a stop at the turn for hot dogs and beer, which is faster than most weekend rounds in the area. However, that didn’t stop the ranger from harassing us the entire round to “improve our pace of play”. Everytime he came by, I asked him what the expected pace of play was supposed to be and he just drove away without answering my question - this happened multiple times. If you like non-memorable hole layouts, overgrown rough, cement greens, and being harassed by an old man all day, this is the course for you.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at this golf course, primarily due to the abysmal behavior of the staff. As a participant in their appreciation program, which I have successfully used in the past, I was shocked when I was denied the right to use it this time. The staff blatantly lied, claiming that the program wasn't real. This is absurd, given that I have utilized it multiple times before without issue. When I asked for an email address to escalate my complaint, they refused, saying there wasn't one available. This level of unprofessionalism and dishonesty is unacceptab…
