Ridge is an astonishingly good, below-the-radar, golf course on the south side of Chicago. It will never get the accolades of its neighbors, like Beverly Country Club or Flossmoor, but for my money, RCC is every bit as good. I've played each of the other courses, and many more of the "best" in Chicago, but RCC more than holds its own. I've played RCC twice now, and on both occasions, it was absolutely pristine! Fairways are totally immaculate and greens roll fast and true. Ridge CC is not long by any measure....the tips only go back to about 6300. But bunkers are well placed and love to eat go…

Ignorant customer service drove all the way out here to tee off and got refused because my plain t-shirt didn't have a collar on it like come on man and then dude had a whole attitude about the situation while walking away

Not enough parking, frenzy environment, not relaxing. Too many happenings all at once btwn golfing, club house soiree, kids' crafting event, pool water polo. No cash or credit card accepted at club house, guests cannot make purchases without a member. Weird business strategy.

This place is historic. It's over 100 years old and absolutely beautiful. The trees are absolutely huge, the fairways are cut to perfection. My caddie Tommy is amazing. This kid has boundless and great knowledge of the course. Not to mention he'll give you your yardage to the pin, find your ball and clean it too. I have never been so impressed. The food is outstanding along with the service as well. In summary, I can't recommend this place enough. You probably can't find a single thing to complain about unless you're insane. The sheer beauty of this place is amazing.

Such a lovely wedding venue! The sun set beyond the green as the bride and groom made their vows on the deck. The food was wonderful (get the steak).

Yep. FIVE stars. From the valet to a filet, all great! (And I highly recommended getting a filet here- the chef is awesome!) I'm not a member- my folks are members since the late 70's. Honesty I haven't golfed here in years since my dad passed, but it's a nice course. Going by you can see it's always well maintained. The staff is always good, and the other members I've met are good 'regular folks' (not a 'snobby' club!) I've been to weddings, holiday dinners, and the occasional funeral luncheon (unfortunately) here- and dinner with the Tuesday 'Sundowners' dinner in the men's grill. If you go,…

Fantastic job in the main banquet room. View of golf course, breathtaking! Food and service, outstanding! Betty, Tricia, Josephine, and the rest of the servers make you feel at home and truly welcome. Thank you for doing an amazing job for my fathers funeral luncheon!
