I can count on one hand the number of public golf courses in our tri-county area with an actual grass driving range and not mats. This is a diamond in the rough. Whether you're a low handicapper and need to practice your short game or brand new to golf and looking for a no-pressure environment to learn, this little jewel has is it.

this place was absolutely a blast!!As a golfer who plays private country clubs I absolutely loved this lil slice of heaven. all you need is a P S and a putter and maybe a 8 iron. the course was easy to navigate amd well planned out i loved the shade trees and benches to rest trash cans. the oak trees were my fav. Definitely will be returning many time is the staff was absolutely amazing also very friendly and welcoming.a awesome spot to bring your friends and family.

Great walking Par 3 18 hole course. The greens aren’t the best and around the hole could use some work but this is truly a gem in Houston. I go here to work on my short game. I love it here because they are very relaxed, unlike EVERY other golf course. No collar shirt needed, just come and have a good time. You can also rent a push cart for around $4. You can usually find a deal to play for around $9. With the price, the atmosphere, and the perfect practice situations you can find yourself in that is a great deal for this special gem of a course.

Great super inexpensive place to work on your game. Full 18 par 3 course. Fairways are always pretty decent but some greens are better/worse than others. Last time we went (Sept 2024), the conditions had really improved. Very laid-back staff/owner. Obviously set your expectations right, but a great course to play for super cheap $.

Tony does an amazing job keeping this place going. After the unfortunate fire that destroyed the clubhouse, he’s been putting in nonstop work to make sure the course is still enjoyable and playable for everyone. This is by far the best place in Houston to learn the game, bring your family, or hang out with friends and enjoy a stress-free, judgment-free round of golf. The green fees are unbelievably affordable — one payment gives you access to the course all day. That’s crazy! The driving range is great for practicing your long game, and there’s always space available. Everyone who plays Melr…

A new venture it was. I wanted to work my short game and this was the place to do it. I had not played here before so I was not sure what to expect. The staff was super friendly. Be aware, they only take cash! I had to make arrangements to work that through. They were able to maneuver a Zelle payment for us. The cost is 12$ and you can play all day if you desire. There are 28 par 3 holes ranging from about 80 to 150 yards. A few holes, you have to hit over a treed pond. Very unique. While the fairways were decent, be aware of the greens as they were actually (tans) mostly compacted sand. We…

It's a 3 par golf course and you walk each course. I don't mind walking so it's a great place to put my steps in. It's very affordable and a fun place to go when you want to go out and enjoy a beautiful day. It's good for target practice and a place to enjoy a day of golfing

Nice walking course and range. You just show up and pay $12 and that’s it! It’s no Augusta but you can come here and work on your short game until you get there! Staff is friendly and nice as well. Whole place has a very homely feeling to it.

I recently relocated to North Houston and searched online for a nearby golf course that had last minute availability. Upon arriving there was no one available but a sign posted said start your round and pay later. The course is a par 3 layout on a very small property. Resultantly you only need to bring a sand wedge to play the entire course. First hole played 60 yards and I easily hit the green, however the grass on the putting surface was uncut and you been better off chipping at it. A stagnated pound welcomes you on hole 2 full of mosquitoes and venomous snakes (saw many swimming around betw…

I was just here over the weekend. Really impressed. Mari runs it and is super great. This place used to be rough - I mean it was really fun still - clubhouse had dogs in it, beer cans all over, overgrown, all that. Much different now.

Beautiful Friday afternoon. Hadn't been here in years. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Mari is a hard worker. Fellow golfers pleasant as well. Laid back atmosphere, incentive for this 72 year old to walk a golf course again. Greens very fast, sandy. Great value. Brought a newbie golfer out and he had a great time as well, cleared the trees on 18 hole high! Will surely return more often.

No grass..Balls are broken or hit so many times they don't even fly. Worst course in Houston by far. To actually call this golf is nuts.
