In summary

Pine Crest Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly and helpful staff, challenging course layout, and reasonable pricing on driving range buckets and clubhouse merchandise. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's poor maintenance, including issues with greens, fairways, and sand traps, which detract from the overall golfing experience. While some enjoy the amenities and atmosphere, others feel that significant improvements are needed to restore the course's former quality.

Club staff were excellent! Course itself needs a lot of TLC. Carts are dangerous bc they are in need of a l o t of maint2.

Great course, really friendly staff and the course is challenging. The driving range has turf as well as grass and the buckets are reasonable. Food is about as good as it gets in a golf setting. Was a little surprised by the price of the course itself, but actually good deals on some balls in the clubhouse. Ill be back!

The people here are very nice. If you are looking for nice people come to this golf course. However, if you are looking for a nice golf course you may want to keep looking. The greens are reasonable but everything else is pretty much not maintained. It appears they have given up and are returning the course to nature. There was a time when this golf course was beautiful. those days are behind us.

Course was in bad shape. Greens were horrible especially front 9. The ball on the greens wouldn't roll straight and was bouncing everywhere. A ton of holes from killing crabgrass This is the worst condition I've ever seen it in. Weeds growing everywhere n grass need to be cut. Sand pits were hard and haven't been raked for some time. I only paid $25 from golf now but I wouldn't even pay that if I had known it was in bad shape. I won't go back for a while hoping they would get the maintenance corrected. It almost look like the course about to shut down. It was a wasted round.

I played there and the sand traps had at least 1/4 inch of sand above the rock base. The fairways were right there, some even had grass on them! There are greens! Not the color green but what they call greens anyway. Its used to be a good course just not in my life time and I cant see it changing anytime soon. Why would they put any money in it when they dont have to. Just stop playing there and they will get the hint maybe. Have a great day! With Jersey Meadows and Bear Creek so close why stop at Pine Crest!

Wish I could give NO stars!! This place is HORRIBLE! The fairway's are brown and crunchy. The tee boxes are so hard you can hardly get a tee in the ground. The greens are diseased. Ponds are full of algae and the some sand traps are overrun with grass. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. The owners clearly don't cate about up keep

The course is nice and a bit difficult for high handicapper 30 +. The greens are great, and the sand are just as you want them. The crew is very helpful and the Marshall are the best ever. So i enjoy being there.

dog track at best. needs work. no grass and greens are spotty. owners are milking it with very little reinvested. no push carts allowed forcing you to rent cart.

Very racist. Played owner for money and he wouldn't pay. He then kicked me off the course for good because I beat him in front is his buddies. Tried to go back and he called the cops on me. I just wanted to practice because I didn't have a car and I lived 2 blocks away. Wow!

Horrible greens.. Literally no grass on the greens, nothing but sand... Sand traps have gravel in them.. Too many groups of 5-6.. Took 5 hours to complete 16 holes. Never playing here again.

This is a very nice layout and has excellent location, however it is poorly mantained and greens are ridiculously slopy, some pin locations are virtually impossible to putt in. Could easily double the price with a professional manteinance.

This place is horrible!! Do not waste your money here.. Nothing is maintained, staff is lazy and could careless if you are in need of service or want to place an order in the "grill"...worst place to golf in Houston. Sad thing I live close:-(
