What People Say

In summary

Bear Creek Golf World offers a variety of courses that are generally well-received for their reasonable pricing, friendly staff, and suitability for beginners. Many appreciate the course conditions and the unique layout of each course, though some have noted issues such as maintenance problems, slow pace of play, and the prolonged closure of parts of the Master course due to storm damage. While the overall experience is positive for many, others feel that certain areas need improvement, including better organization and addressing course wear and tear.

I have played the last two weeks in The Challenger and The Masters and I enjoy both courses very much. They were in good shape and greens very challenging. I would recommend players to try and enjoy these courses, which are reasonable price.

I have been regularly playing here once a week ever since my retirement, the 3 courses are unique to one another, and they also offer a good senior loyalty program, but to my biggest disappointment is that the front 9 holes of the Master course has been closed for almost entire last year and continuing. I was told this is because the bridge connecting hole 2 and 3 is demaged during a storm. Anyway I think the owner and management of this course is either so incompetent or just don't care to get this bridge fix. I will not go there anymore unless they will open all 18 holes of Master course.

The course is great for beginners except for one thing...they don't cut the rough frequently so it is very easy to loose golf balls if you miss the fairways. Other then that if you want to spend only 25 bucks for 18 I say come here.

Playing with my handicapped wife and two friends, we informed the marshals that we would be slow, but that we would call players through as the opportunity presented itself (the rules say two holes), we let two ball through faster than that. We still were harassed by a marshal for slow play. Let me say that Challenger is not a championship course, and that as we were letting players through, our own playing time expanded. Apart from that, water hazards and OOB are not marked, bare spots on the greens do not appear to be under repair, and the T-boxes are not level and even. That being said Chal…

Very well kept course. Great staff. Gas carts are great condition. Cart paths a little rugged. Overall great 18 on President course. Looking forward to playing the other two courses.

Overpriced for a course in really bad shape. Rude marshals soured the experience even more. Not worth it. Many other courses in much better shape for same price.

The course isn't some immaculate artwork, but it was in pretty good shape. I've played here a couple times and had nothing but good experiences.

Needs to be more organized. Far too much wait time. My round was over 5hrs last visit.

Played and was very disappointed. The course is not ready to open. I know they need money to rebuild from the floods, but not at my expense.

The Master course is in terrible shape. It is sad that Arnold Palmer would put his name on it. Times must be hard.
