In summary

Mountain View Golf Club is widely praised for its stunning views, friendly and helpful staff, and well-maintained course following a recent renovation. Visitors appreciate the course's layout, which caters to various skill levels, and the abundant wildlife that enhances the golfing experience. However, some reviews mention past issues with the greens' conditions and the temporary closure of some holes, although these concerns appear to have been addressed with recent improvements.

This was the last golf course I got to play with my best golf buddy before he moves off to NorCal and it was nothing but optimal. Coming from Phoenix where if you land in the bunker you might as well hit off of gravel I was excited to land in the bunkers here and hit from actual beautiful fluffy sand. (Yes that sounds crazy) Nothing but wonderful views and amazing staff. Thanks for being a course that provided nothing but great times and memories. Will be back again.

Great desert golf experience! We played a round there today for the first time. The pro shop was nice and spaced out. The staff, and especially the starter, was very friendly; they even noticed a flat-ish tire and swapped out the cart on #1. The course offered great views and interesting holes, and swing by the club house at the turn as well. All things considered, it was a great time!

First, I want to point out that the pro shop and on-course staff were friendly, very up-beat, and helpful. Second, the layout and design of the holes, along with the location of restrooms and water, some pretty good views, blooming cactus, and seeing a smal herd of deer, would generally make for a good experience, but we unfortunately have to move on to Third. The plain fact is that the course conditions are horrible. The grass surrounding the green complexes, and many places in the fairways are bare earth. The 12th tee box (we played the Black tees) was so hard I had to try 4 different spots…

The golf course was in great condition. The staff was helpful and professional. The only issue is it's location which if you live in NW Tucson probably isn't one.

I really enjoy happy hour on Friday's here. It would be nice to have more seating in the bar area.

This is a beautiful course with even more beautiful views. The wildlife casually enjoys the day with you, instead of scattering.

After completing a multi-million dollar renovation in 2024, this course is a winner. The layout is fairly friendly to golfers of all skill levels and sight lines to greens are much better now. The new irrigation system is keeping greens and fairways in great shape even after the transition. Generous views of the nearby Catalina mountains, and frequent spotting of wildlife make rounds here even more relaxing. The pro shop staff are very helpful and the Marshalls are friendly while keeping things moving at a good pace.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The course is in amazing shape. The tees and fairways were thick and plush. The rough was thick and on the longer side than what I'm used too, but we're very fair. Greens were just recently topdressed but held well and putted very true. Our group is currently planning on a return trip soon.

I love this golf course. There’s a great variety to the layout. I was looking forward to playing here when I saw the Mens group I belong to scheduled an event here. Boy, what a huge mistake! The heart of any good layout is the condition of the greens. These were awful! They were bumpy, inconsistent in their speed and texture. There’s razor like cuts everywhere, pits, and poorly cut cups. I won’t play here again until the greens are better. Oh, they were BROWN!!!! They should be ashamed Please let me edit. 1/15/2025. So, this course has been through a wonderful upgrade. The greens roll true. J…
