In summary

Saddlebrooke Golf Club is praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained course, and extensive amenities, including a bar and restaurant with good food and service. The course layout is generally appreciated, though some find it less walkable due to its spread-out design. However, there are recurring criticisms about inconsistent course conditions, occasional slow service, and unfriendly staff interactions, particularly with marshals.

It's sad I'm writing with a 3-star review. This is a fantastic place, facility, and course. I really enjoyed the course and the views. However, in today's round, they had a hole *closed* and a par 5 shortened to a 85 yd par 3. And the restaurant - which were told would close at 6 - closed at 3, so we missed the end of the golf tournament. I can't think I've ever had a round with a hole "closed" , a downwind par 5 shortened, and wrong advice about the restaurant. This is such a nice place I hope I just had a one time only, bad experience.

Ordered the chef pasta special for the day. Was very good. The building is beautiful built. Fireplace was massive stone.. The bar was beautiful layout. They have a great open pizza oven. Was some what noisy when full of dinners. Service was very good.

I love how beautiful the course is everymorning when the sun rises. The course is green and full of life. Its a peaceful community where everyone you meet is kind. Saddlebrooke Ranch is growing so rapidly, with pickleball, a dog park, pool and fitness center, and more to come!

Well maintained course, yet the ball washers haven't returned since the end of the COVID-19 era. Nice driving range and practice area. Not very walkable as the course was laid out to maximize lot values and is very spread out.

Nice setting. Food was pretty good though menu is limited. Wine list very good. Entree pricing made sense. I felt we got good value for what the things cost (high twenties to low thirties). Waiter was excellent, though he had to almost run between tables to keep up with his patrons needs. They do need more servers. This is an update from a first visit 4 years previous when they had just opened.

Don’t play here if you are beginner, they do not welcome beginners.

Looking for everything to keep you busy, this is the place. Endless amenities at this community. The model homes are beautiful.

Decent golf course. The course was a 5 star in excellent condition in the winter of 2018/19 ... but not that great in 2019/20 so the 3 star rating. They've been doing some work on the course so hopefully it returns to it's previous condition. Two beautiful clubhouses with bar and restaurant and great food.

I'm not sure where all these 5-star reviews are coming from, but I can tell you this course is in NO condition to be considered "5-Star". My wife and I played yesterday and were appalled at the condition of the fairways and the greens. This used to be an absolutely beautiful course...one of our favorites. We haven't been able to play here in months and we were looking forward to getting back and playing. What a sad discovery. The fairways are thin, have large dirt patches and have been "painted" to appear like grass. The greens are bumpy, the grass is patchy and they have large bare spots in t…

What a wonderful place in Arizona! We visited friends there who had a house in The Preserve section and we're stunned with the views sizes of the lots and quality of the real estate. The restaurants are also wonderful and we couldn't believe the prices compared to other places that were similarly situated. The food and service was fantastic in the restaurant and we only wish we could have stayed longer. We played pickleball everyday we were in Saddle Brook and we're amazed with how many quarts they have and how well kept the property is. It's definitely worth a look if you're in the Tucson are…

Course is in excellent condition. Fun, fair layout. Fairways cut just the right length. Greens very true and just the right speed. Also hold iron shots well, even in the wind. One downside is the wind blows consistently hard there throughout the Spring & Summer. Today it ranged between 25-35 mph.

Played on 10/18/2023 and we were called to the tee for a 1:07 tee time and went promptly to the tee box and were told by a not so pleasant ranger that were one minute late in a loud voice calling my partner and I out. When it was explained politely to the ranger that perhaps the issue was with the person in the pro shop not having players on deck he shrugged to to say not his issue. Well we finished 4 1/2 hours late after waiting on every tee and and every 2nd shot and do you think we saw the sad sack ranger again - no way. Most miserable round of golf I have played since I have been here in 1…
