In summary

Northern Bay Resort & Marina is appreciated for its unique layout featuring replica holes of famous courses, which many find to be a fun and visually appealing experience. The greens and scenic setting are often highlighted positively, and some guests have had pleasant interactions with staff. However, there are recurring criticisms regarding the inconsistent condition of the fairways and bunkers, and several reports of unprofessional staff behavior have been noted, which detract from the overall experience for some visitors.

I played in early spring and it was in good shape. It was $60. I don’t have anything bad to say, but it was not outstanding either. The replicas are fun one time.

The fairway conditions were extremely poor, resembling sand rather than grass. For the price charged, the course was highly disappointing. Additionally, the staff member I interacted with was rude and disrespectful, which further diminished the overall experience.

Attempted to golf today and talked to a very rude person named Derek, who stated he was the manager of the golf course. We had to cancel our tee time because of the weather, and we had children we did not want to play in the rain. It was pouring out and he called us disrespectful and told us we were rude even though we apologized. He also red listed us. I will tell everybody I know to never go to this golf course ever again. Clearly, it was raining, pouring out.

Always fun to play this course. Replicas holes make it worth the trip. Greens are their highlight just wish they could figure out their overall conditions.

Love this place. Really nice condominiums. I have been there quite a few times. Great place for a bunch of family, friends or couples to hang out for a secluded weekend. Inexpensive. A bunch of us generally couple up and split the cost of the condos. Each couple has their own room and we generally give the penthouse suite to the first timers. We bring our own food, seasonings, beverages and some cooking equipment. There is equipment included in all of the condos we have stayed in. We always have a great time. We bring our own bluetooth speakers, but some of these condos have surround sound, so…

I’ll let you decide for yourself, but $200 in parking violations from a spineless coward name Shane. All of which could’ve been resolved with a simple phone call demonstrates a clear lack of professional management. Golf was good, the food was good, the room the room was nice. But as a former board member and past president of the homeowners association myself, it is a challenge with employees and the reason I took the time to write this post is simple any one going to Northern Bay needs to know how they treat anyone with a boat who’s not an owner. According to the checkout procedures you shou…

Had a great round of golf. Was worried based on previous reviews. Course was well kept, fun place to just play and enjoy. Glad we took the chance to play, especially through using a daily deal.

Disappointing Experience at Northern Bay Resort I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Northern Bay holf course. The course was in horrible shape. The condition of the course was a major letdown, especially considering the high price point. To make matters worse, the employee at the check-in counter was incredibly rude and unfriendly. They seemed completely uninterested in helping us or addressing our concerns. Overall, I would not recommend to anyone. The poor condition of the course and subpar customer service make it not worth the price. Hopefully, the management will take st…

Subject: Cool Chunk of Land, Tough Conditions Date: July 2, 2025 Price: $89 (with cart) Masked Review Introduction We were excited to play a replica course and experience some of the most iconic holes in American golf. Proximity to our rental made Northern Bay an easy choice. The Good 1. Replica Holes (Some) A few replica holes were impressively crafted—especially #10 (inspired by #17 at TPC Sawgrass) and #18 (a take on Bay Hill’s final hole). For a moment, you could feel the essence of those legendary layouts. Their location near the clubhouse and patio was a smart touch for visual appeal.…

The layout and replica holes are really cool. It’s the closest I’ll probably ever get to golfing Augusta and TPC Sawgrass. With that being said, for the $130 price tag, the fairways and greens were bad. I’ve golfed $30 Milwaukee County Public Courses that were in better condition. I’d love to come back as long as I knew the course was in better condition.

Nice layout. Fun. The replica holes are really challenging. The price is good. They could do a better job maintaining the tees and fairways. The greens are acceptable. They need more water coolers and drink carts out on the course. I got dehydrated.Next time I will know better and stock up.

The golf course presented several challenges, including unfavorable conditions on the fairways, and the staff's conduct was perceived as unprofessional.
