In summary

Old Chatham Golf Club is highly praised for its immaculate course conditions, challenging layout, and attentive, professional staff. The club offers a serene setting with no real estate development, enhancing its appeal as a peaceful golfing retreat. While the amenities, including practice facilities and the clubhouse, receive positive feedback, some visitors have noted limited menu options and an isolated incident of unhelpful staff behavior.

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!! Addison was our caddy for the round and this kid exemplifies class, he knew every nook of the layout and was beyond professional. If you are looking for a full service club to become a member of I would highly recommend. Beyond impressed with the overall course and conditions.

By far, my favorite golf course in North or South Carolina. from the friendly greeting at bag drop staff, into the Pro shop, and the course itself is outstanding. I always look forward to playing Old Chatham every year with a close friend who has been a member at Old Chatham from day 1.

Everything from course conditions, layout, practice areas, clubhouse decor and staff Friendliness are as good as it gets. I say this with being a family golf course owner and pga professional for 47 years. If I lived in the area this is where I would want to be a member. Played here on 10/12/24.

Old Chatham Golf Club lives up to its National reputation. The uncrowded golf course is maintained to championship conditions. Challenging, but fun to play. The professional staff is attentive and the classic clubhouse inviting. The large back porch overlooking the 18th green is my favorite. Wonderful golf experience…truly a special place.

With only 18 holes and no houses on over 400 acres in the center of the Triangle, Old Chatham is a unique experience. Maintained in championship condition, it's a privilege to play year round. Limited membership ensures easy access and great service. Fantastic practice facilities, including large two-sided range and new short game area.

It is one of the finest courses I've played. It is a great golf experience for the higher handicap player yet challenging enough to be chosen by the USGA for one of their national amateur championships. The course is always well-conditioned. the staff attentive and courteous, and the food great - especially when eaten from the back porch of the clubhouse overlooking the 18th hole. There is a beautiful, four-suite cottage for the use of out-of-town members overlooking the large Practice Area. This club has everything the discerning golfer expects.

Still the best kept secret of all golf courses in this area even though it is the highest rated course by the NC Golf Panel and the only course in the area to host a USGA National Championship - 2019 US Senior Am. Beautiful and challenging - maintained as a firm, fast, championship level track with fast, smooth greens. No real estate component so just a beautiful walk through pine and hardwood forests.

The best golf experience in the triangle. First class all the way. Immaculate conditions, fantastic layout and the staff could not have been more attentive and courteous. This is a hidden gem in NC for the golf enthusiast.

This is one of the best golf courses in the South. Every time I play there I have an amazing experience. The course is always in pristine condition and the staff make every golf outing a day to remember. It is rare to find a place like this.

Best private golf club in the Triangle. Beautiful, open course, rarely crowded. Only suggested improvements would be a beverage cart that drives around, and club/ball cleaning equipment and a cooler on the carts.

The course and clubhouse are amazing and have all the first-class amenities. Lunch menu leaves something to be desired as it's mostly sandwiches and not many options for folks trying to eat clean, but I know they're just accommodating their clientele.
