In summary

Papago Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained fairways, challenging layout, and beautiful views of nearby mountains, providing a great golfing experience within Phoenix. The staff is noted for their professionalism and helpfulness, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the venue. While the course is generally well-received, some visitors have mentioned issues with crowded play and occasional pairing with other groups, which can impact the enjoyment of the round. Additionally, the driving range is not included with green fees, which some find inconvenient.

All of our guest have raved about Papago golf club since our wedding in May. Papago has amazing views and their food is even better! When first looking at Papago, Lauren was very helpful and went above and beyond to provide us all the information we would need. We enjoyed lunch as a family and everything was fantastic from food to service. Once we decided on them, the process was seamless. There is not enough I can say about this amazing venue. From start to finish everything was amazing. Communication was beyond my expectations, I would call or email Lauren and she always responded in a time…

Very good course within the city of Phoenix. I like the desert courses that are outside the city but this course does provide great views of some of the nearby mountains. The course is well maintained and is a challenging. Tee times were spread out and we finished in just over 3 hours.

We had a great experience here at Papago. The course was in great shape. They have one of the coolest driving ranges in the area. This is a challenging course that hosts many tournaments at all levels. Find your right tee box and go out to have a great golf experience. Greens while we were there were quite quick especially on the down hill putts. Fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. We will definitely be back again.

I can’t say enough great things about this golf course! The layout is beautiful, the conditions are top-notch, and the entire place has an incredible atmosphere but what truly sets them apart is the people. During my round, I accidentally lost my watch somewhere on the course. I live in Canada, so I assumed it was gone for good. To my surprise, the staff not only found it the same day, but they immediately reached out and mailed it back to me without hesitation. That level of honesty, kindness, and professionalism is extremely rare. It’s not just a great golf course it’s a place run by genui…

Came here for lunch on the patio. They were having a show of equipment like tractors, etc. Very busy. Seems like a nice place. The course looks well kept. Food was ok.

I really enjoyed my golf experience here. We tee'd off at 6 a.m. and we're able to almost maintain a good pace. The golf carts are quite strict on where you can and can not drive them.

Staff is very accommodating, from the cart guys to the pro shop and restaurant, super cool and friendly. The course is playing great and is in pretty good shape for a Phoenix summer. Greens were rolling nice and the traps have actual sand in them. Some courses haven’t replaced sand since Covid, there are still “hard” traps in some valley courses. Price for Papago is pretty good, $34 with a Phoenix card included cart. One thing to watch out for at this course, not golf related, the birds! 😂 They picked a granola bar, fully wrapped and unopened, out my cart, opened it up and feasted. 😆😆

Fun course! There are a mix of some challenging holes along with plenty to score on. I was expecting course conditions to be a little nicer, there were hardly no cart paths the entire time. I was disappointed to find out that the driving range is not included with my green fees. They seem to be a bit behind with the times… overall I’d love to return and play again!

This course is a terrific city course. With a Phoenix Golf Card, it is also a great bargain. I was impressed with the condition of the fairways, greens, and bunkers. Host Randy was very helpful.

This is a very beautiful course. I was just passing by and played a round here. I really enjoyed the the course. It's certainly a tournament course. The fairways are very well maintained, the greens are nice and it's fast, the sands are white and soft. April was the best time to play in AZ before the 100 degree heat comes in. There's 4 different colored tee box, so it's pretty long. The Carts are very nice and it's got chrome rims. lol. Ice chest on every cart. the staffs will clean your clubs when you return. Awesome service. What's bad: the greens are very fast, very challenging and very tri…

Great course. Great hazards to add some pressure. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises with the red rocks all around. Very popular course, make sure you bring you top notch golf etiquette so you and others have fun. The technicality makes it a bit harder for a beginner but if you don't mind keeping pace with groups by picking up your ball and move to the next hole it's worth it.
