Rolling Hills Golf Course

First time finally getting over to play Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills Golf Course. What an experience!!! This place was throttled, from parking lot, to proshop, to practice facility, to course. They have got it going on here. Outside service guys very friendly and knowledgeable as it was our first time there. We got paired with another twosome that dropped out at the turn, so for 2 holes we were absolutely confused where to play from since we had been hitting from the back box and were told they could be played as par 4 holes. Fun place. Recently renovated public course which has become an outdoor entertainment, bar, grill, and special event tournament venue with casual contemporary Arizona/Southwestern theme for food and drinks. Great at night with friends!

This is a great way to scratch the itch of an emergency 18 right when you fly in on your AZ golf trip with the crew! It's got a great pro shop, fabulous food, and adult beverages all on site. The golf course was well lit, and it played like regular daytime golf with some really nice rolling greens.

Service is great! Food at Glenrosa was amazing! But almost 200 for a round of golf that is a non challenging part 3 with ok greens! I play all over AZ and this is a tourist trap it would be fine if it was during the day for 65.

I recently attended the Grass Clippings Golf Tournament at Rolling Hills Golf Club in Tempe as a spectator, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. Great place to golf if you love courses that are absolute trash! I am almost certain they haven't even THOUGHT about tee box maintenance in over 4 years let alone actually doing it. If you want a fun thing to do in the area I would recommend playing leapfrog in the highway over playing this course. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

I had the opportunity to play some night golf with a few buddies and was very excited. Unfortunately, my excitement didn’t last long as the course was in very rough shape. Specifically the tee boxes. The tee boxes were torn to absolute shreds. For spending around $150 per person, you can find so many better options in the area. Avoid this place at all costs, it is not worth your time or money. I am extremely dissatisfied. The only positive was the front desk staff was nice when we checked in.

Plenty of bays with new golf launch monitor technology, good vibe too. Large outdoor bar for pre or post playing the Iconic Par-3 course, especially under the lights with tee times as late as 1am.

Unreal experience. Definetely recommend this place. Night golf was a blast.

First time here. Seems like lots of younger people work here and don’t seem to care about anything. Bathrooms had no toilet paper inside where restaurant was. On the course our tee time started late due to the people in front of us starting late. They wanted us to skip a hole when not our fault. Bathrooms on course not clean at hole, toilets clogged and gross. First time ever golfing in Arizona not a good experience!!! Was so excited to golf at night all lit up was the best just wish it was cleaner for the price we paid.

The only twighlight golf in Scottsdale which exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff that serves alcohol by the 1st hole and a Mexican food truck that can be deliver your food to you while playing. The driving range was still under construction but the host mentioned they were still adding more to the course and it should be fully completed by the end of year. Terrible pace of play. 5 hours for an executive course charging $120 is ridiculous. It’s literally more than what I paid for TPC-Scottsdale. Edit… the course is in terrible shape. Tee boxes are literal dirt. Allowing groups of 8 to play in front of a twosome is just stupid. They apparently only care about taking your money for the first time because i can’t imagine anyone wanting to come back. I will add that if it wasn’t $120 and they didn’t allow groups of 6-8 then it would be a fun time. Till then I feel like a sucker for giving them my money.
