I cannot say enough good things about this unique course. First impressions are of the staff and the practice facility. Top notch. One of the friendliest courses down here. We played 36 holes and couldn’t be happier. Peninsula is like another world….

For this time of year this was one of the best kept courses that I have EVER played. The staff was super friendly and very helpful especially my former Cobb County GA resident. Will definitely recommend to othets!

Thank you to everyone at the Peninsula for providing my grandson and son-in-law, for the golfing experience that they will never forget. Neither are experienced golfers but the smiles on their faces told the whole story. Not only was their time on the course memorable, but the friendliness of every staff member at the Peninsula, made for an outstanding day. THANK YOU to everyone there. Only goes to show that you don't have to be an expert golfers to have a great experience here.

Great greens and fairways! Beautiful surrounds and the range is top tier. Fast firm greens on Cypress/Lakes nines and beautiful grasses everywhere.

Wife and I played the course on 10/3/25. Excellent condition. What stands out is the staff!! Even with a big tournament going on they were still attentive to a twosome

Great courses and even better customer service! I am in town visiting my brother and we tried to play here on Friday and got rained out, came back out today and got a fast 9 holes in on the Lakes Course. The course is in great shape and the greens are just about perfect - rolling fast and true. What impressed me most was how nice EVERYONE at the course was. From the time we checked in to the time we were on our way out after the round the staff was friendly and personable. This is definitely my new favorite course in Gulf Shores!!

Played the Lakes and Marsh courses at Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club while visiting Gulf Shores and really enjoyed it. The staff—from the pro shop to the cart guys—were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the practice facilities were excellent. Fairways were in great shape and the greens rolled beautifully. The Marsh course felt more scenic and a bit more challenging than the Lakes, though both were fun to play. The only small issue was the cart GPS yardages, which seemed off by 5–35 yards, so having a rangefinder helped. Pace of play was slow, but I was on vacation so it wasn’t a big deal f…

I’m a beginner golfer. I was able to play Cypress and Marsh and the entire course was beautifully maintained. Every employee/staff member I encountered were very encouraging, professional, and just overall nice. Great atmosphere!

Really fun golf club. Great service, lunch was great. Enjoyed being out here for 27 holes. We played all three 9’s. Greens are in good shape roll true and fast enough to not be slow. Best course at Gulf Shores by a LONG shot! 💯👏🏽🐺⛳️🇺🇸🎚️

Absolutely a fantastic track, very impressed with the condition, greens were great , fairways were perfect. Seen a gator and bald eagle also From Texas . See you next year.
