In summary

Pleasant Valley Golf Club receives mixed reviews, with many praising its scenic layout, friendly staff, and improved course conditions, particularly the greens. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the maintenance of fairways and tee boxes, as well as the high green fees, which they feel do not align with the course's condition. While some appreciate the course's comeback and enjoyable experience, others are disappointed by inconsistent upkeep and management issues.

Unfortunately I feel like it’s a must to write this. I only took a couple photos but this course is a dog track. Dead fairways, torn up tee boxes, at least 2 greens are torn up by cicada killer wasps, half the green have massive dead spots. On top of that the pro shop is way over priced and the green fees are $130…. I understand it’s an expensive area but at least have respect for residents in this area to charge a respectable price based on course condition. No one would mind that price if the course was in pristine condition since it has a really good layout. Unfortunately, I came today to t…

Pleasant Valley Golf Club – A Hidden Gem Reclaimed I had the opportunity to play Pleasant Valley the other day, and I’ll be honest—I wasn’t expecting much. Based on some older reviews, I anticipated average conditions and an average day. But what I found was something completely different. Pleasant Valley is back—and better than ever. From the very first tee box, it was clear the course is being cared for at a high level. The fairways were pristine, greens rolling true and quick, and the rough was lush yet fair—not bumpy or patchy like you'd expect from a typical public course. It honestly…

Can’t say enough positive things about the course. Everything was in excellent condition and greens were immaculate. Loved it. Great course for less than 70$. Quality carts, staff and course. Will play again

My first experience at Pleasant Valley GG, and unfortunately, if I could, I would give this Golf Club a half a star. The property is not properly maintained, the club does not properly manage their tee times, and basic amenities were missing altogether. Providing an unpleasant and stressful experience for my friends and I. As this is a public course, there is a certain standard you must accept. However, for a price of $102.00 each, one would expect a certain level of care for their course and the people who play on it. Every hole on the course was ill maintained, where weeds and tall grass too…

$90 for greens fees is ridiculous for this place. Course has potential but every year by mid-summer, it’s trashed. Greens are diseased, holes are flooded, fairways are either filled with standing water holes or burnt and the tee boxes look like the backyard in a section 8 apartment complex. Staff is friendly and the food is good. Avoid after July 1st until the following spring.

Pleasant Valley was…pleasant. Very pleasant 😃 A really nice variety of holes, in a very secluded setting ( no houses and often no other fairways in sight). On the downside some fairways did have patches of lost/dead grass …but to be fair many courses are suffering this summer (and it seemed course was trying to address) Importantly all the greens were in great shape and at $65 ( midweek senior) and just 3 1/2 hours to complete the round, makes for 5 stars.

Awesome! We have never enjoyed golf league more at Pleasant Valley than we did this year. Can’t decide what was better, the excellent golf conditions or the great staff and customer service. To Jon, Chad and the whole staff, thanks for a great season, keep up the great work… it was really noticed and appreciated this year! KT

Played a Sunday morning round with some buddies and what a good experience. Course was in decent shape considering the price point ($130). Greens were great(5 stars) fairways are what they are(3.5 stars) but the tee boxes need a lot of work(2.5 stars). None are leveled, to a point where we made our own tee box. We might have caught the Asian kid working inside at a bad time, someone complaining, borderline yelling, but he was able to greet us with excitement, was attentive and accommodating while answering multiple phone calls(5 stars). The starter was great getting everything organized and ve…

I like this course. Walk it. Friendly staff. Driving range available. Update Oct 2025. Greens are in great condition and fast, with tough pin spots. A real treat.

Another great season at Pleasant Valley! The course bounced back beautifully after a wet start to the season—and now the conditions continue to get better every day. Our golf league had a blast - a big shoutout to Edward at the grill—his service is outstanding. The patio area (with new furniture) is always the perfect spot to relax post-round. Finally, the ease of booking tee times and the reminder emails make it so simple to schedule a round golf. Can’t wait for next season!

Fantastic Sunday at PV. Very professional and courteous staff. Special shout out to Kevin, the starter, for walking around and keeping folks updated on tee times and positions. Course was in very good shape for early spring. I noticed the increase focus on conditioning as I quit playing here a couple years ago due to the poor conditions. Have always loved the layout, variety of holes, and challenging greens. Thank you for the investment of time and money to bring this great layout back.

I don’t normally write reviews unless I have an over the top great experience OR very substandard/mediocre experience. My buddies and I were excited to play Pleasant Valley for the first time but were pretty shocked to see how awful the conditions of the course were. The tee boxes had literal weeds growing out of them, (so did the sand bunkers) the fairways had huge craters in them and the greens were brown, chunky and patchy. I wouldn’t normally write reviews about these issues because I understand that they get played a lot—the reason why I’m writing a review is because we paid $100 EACH to…
