Our league played here recently and had a wonderful experience. Management is very helpful in setting up our events - responsive and friendly. Checkin a cart management folks are super easy to work with very organized. Course is in GREAT shape - and a fun layout. I left my laser on the cart and when I called back a few days later they had it, put my name on it, and made picking it up fast and easy. We will be back!

Had the opportunity to take lessons with Andrew Lester, South Ridings Golf Pro. Nothing but great things to say, Andrew is a genuine guy and is excellent at being an instructor. I had some issues with my swing that were fixed in no time, thanks to him. Would recommend to anyone and definitely would consider going back down the line.

Excellent condition from tees to green. Yes there are a couple very minor spots (most of which were already marked off) in the fairways that need some attention but you'll need to look for them. Tee boxes are flat, aerated, and drain well. The greens are in great condition allowing just the right amount of bite on approach and rolling smooth on putts. The course layout offers a variety of tee selection that aren't just 5 yds apart for different skill levels. I have been golfing here for years at the Ellie’s Hat Open which is a local charity for children with cancer. The facilities are always fantastic. The folks working the pro shop and the grille are always professional and nice making us feel welcome. This year the course was in the best shape I’ve seen in years. Great experience. One minor note, most of our 4some mentioned something similar. Hopefully they’ll invest in new rubber tees for the driving range. Most, you couldn’t tee your ball without it immediately falling off.

South Riding Golf Course is one of the best in the area. The staff is incredibly friendly, from the pro shop to the starter, who always sets a welcoming tone for the round. Even during the cold winter months, the course is in great shape, with only a few rough spots here and there—but you can always see the grounds crew working hard to keep everything in top condition. They've lost 90% of the tee boxes and this place drains poorly to say the least. An okay layout with some funky greens. Greens were okay. At least the bunkers were nicely sanded. Not a place I'll be visiting for a long while.

Shoutout to Head Golf Professional @South Riding GC Andrew Lester! A few tweaks to my swing tempo and BOOM—my drives are longer, straighter, and way more powerful. Never thought small adjustments could make such a huge difference.
