In summary

Prattville Country Club is appreciated for its interesting course layout and friendly staff, with some visitors noting reasonable pricing compared to other clubs. However, many reviews highlight significant issues with course maintenance, including poor greens and fairways, and inconsistent service quality, particularly for non-members. While there are efforts underway to improve the facilities, current conditions have led to dissatisfaction among some guests.

Like the course and layout, back nine very interesting holes, if you go play capitol hill, give this course a chance

This is the worst course conditions I have ever seen. They had a good layout and it’s a very easy course. The driving range looks like it’s from tin cup. The tee boxes fairways and greens look like the goats in someones backyard on 15 are the greens keepers.

Been many times for Sunday lunch, prices skyrocketed so we stopped going as frequent. Decided to go today, buffet was mediocre, not tasty, no meat, only fried fish and backed beans, zero vegetables. Wife asked if she could order from the menu, was told no. 10 minutes later, we see food being served from the kitchen. We asked again if we could order from the menu, was told again, no. So we asked why we could not when they could. Was told, because, those customers come often and they are special. Never again will we be back.

What a difference from 8 months ago...course is now trash! Greens are impossible to putt on. Tee markers have been removed from most teeboxes?!? A reasonable price for current conditions would be $19.99 max. Photo of 18 teebox. Gave 2 stars only because guy at the counter was nice.

Nice, kind, friendly people. Tommy was very patient while trying to teach me golf. A different country club in Montgomery wanted to charge me $3,000. Then, they wanted me to pay $470/mo. That's just crooked. At Prattville Country Club, you pay a reasonable price.

The course has a great layout but is being poorly maintained. The greens were awful, barely even playable and the tee box’s have seen their better day. This could be a great golf course if they can improve the quality of the grass and greens. Was way over priced for what it is. You are basically playing in open pasture. Edit: I originally rated this place a 2 star but I visited their pro shop the other day to get a new grip put on my club. They told me that they charge $5 to regrip a club. When I picked up the club the next day they charged me $10 for regripping the club because “it was a lit…

Lunch was delicious! The Melvin Burger and chicken tacos were top notch. And our waitress, Jennifer, was super sweet and very attentive. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Stopped by for lunch. We were 7min. "late." When they say they shut down the grill, they shut down the grill - there is no grace period! In fairness, I would give 3.5 stars...

This could be a really great semi private golf course. Wonderful layout....need to turn off sprinklers during time that golfers are playing. That should be done at night maybe. Members need to be less rude to non members who come to play as their financial support is obviously needed to keep the club operating.

The only reason I gave it one star is because their wasn’t a 0, the golf course has the worst greens keeper in the country. Their is hardly no grass in the fairway and tee box. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND not coming here.

This course sucks so much they changed a state tournament from two days to 1 day and refunded all the schools because of how bad this course was. I would recommend playing golf on a goat ranch before you came to this course. You will never see my good looking self there ever again.

We are here as a group, they don’t have any carts for the group and staff are very unhelpful. Per the management we are not to get any carts. They did have any range balls for the group of 80 plus and yes they knew we would be here and agreed to host. I have not this level of negativity at any course.
