RTJ Golf Trail at Capitol Hill Golf Club

This place is a golfer’s dream. 3 18 holes full courses (only played 2). The two we played were completely different designs and both were fabulous. Greens were fast but not unfair. I can’t wait to go back!!!

Of the 3 courses here, this was my first time playing the Legislator. It was just reopened after some renovations. It's like a tale of two courses The front fairways are a bit wide but the back is tight. You can't miss by much on the back or it's down a hill or a canyon. The greens were hard and fast. But all in all we enjoyed the challenge and we'll go back now that we how to play the course.

Capitol Hill is a fantastic destination course that offers challenging courses, awesome conditions, and some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen at a golf course. The bag drop, pro shop, grill, and cart server experiences all get an A+. Would highly recommend that you play there.

I had the opportunity to play RTJ Capitol Hill the other day and was lucky enough to get in a double round too. So let me start with the check in process. Seamless and very professional. Drop your clubs and then drive to park. There is a cart shuttle to take you back to the clubhouse. This was a first for the RTJ courses I have played previously. I got some breakfast before teeing off and had the classic. Very tasty and priced very reasonably too. Warm up area was nice. Plenty of space and turf conditions were decent too. Played the Senator. Beautiful links course with no trees but the rough is not your friend! lol. The facility and amenities are typical of RTJ, stellar. Will be back to play the other 2 courses on the property. Oh yeah, the practice facility and driving range is uniquely awesome.

Beautiful course. Great conditioning. Kinda treated shitty because we had tattoos. Spoiler alert; shot a 79. Was gonna play the courses in auburn on the way back but passed because of the looks we got here.

Played all 3 courses over Columbus Day weekend. Facilities are great with multiple putting greens and well maintained range. Each of the Judge, Legislator and Senator pose their own unique challenges and beauty. Beware of any downhill putt especially on the Legislator! It was a perfect setting for a 16 person Ryder Cup format. My only knock on the course are the golf carts with shut off and only allow you to go backwards when you get in a restricted area. It was quite annoying! I will definitely come back and play here again!

Played the senator course - links style . Conditions were very good typical of all RTJ trail courses I’ve played.. carts have GPS maps-good..carts get disabled temporarily if you get within 100 yards of greens or enter front of fairways— basically enforced 90’ cart path rules which keeps conditions good. Facilities great . Rec buying trail card for really good rates !!

This is a wonderful golf course. This is my 3rd RJT course location that I’ve played and I will 100% say Capitol Hill is by far the greatest of them all so far. Three courses were beyond perfect and in amazing condition. Greens to fairways, bunkers and tee boxes you’re not going to find a LN issue. The staff was truly amazing to deal with from desk staff to starters. Way to go RTJ keep up the amazing work.

Love playing the Trail. Have played the Judge before. Terrific layout. But the team has done a terrific job of screwing it up. Circus speeds on the greens. Putts backing up a foot from the hole. Four low-handicap guys leaving disappointed. Understand there may be a renovation coming. Suggest avoiding until that happens.

We played the Legislator course and it was the best golfing experience we have had. Beautiful course, carts are high tech, and a good challenge for us.
