Went to try to play 9 after getting off early from work at 1240 on a Wednesday. Got turned away saying the earliest tee time was 1:45. 40 carts sitting out front 15 cars in the parking lot and no one on the 1st 9th or 10th tee boxes. Both employees were eating lunch. When asking if I could pay and come back at 1:45 the manager said not till I’m done eating. Been visiting the pines for a little over a year and was thinking about getting a yearly membership. The place is run by a bunch of miserable old men that have no respect for others!!! The worst golf course I’ve ever played, I work out of town a lot and I’m leaving for a couple months tomorrow so I wanted to take my wife and 17,16,and 14 year old kids to have a good day on the course before I left. We play a lot on other courses so it’s not like we are new to the game. If you like hills and a few blind tee shots, look no further - Great overall value especially on the weekend! Had to play early to beat the heat : ) Staff was super nice. Fairways are mown nicely, outside of that beware....especially all the red clay streaks around the course. Greens roll smooth but are extremely slow. I'll be back soon - Thanks!

Beautiful course that I don’t get tired of playing. The electric golf carts are nice and quiet. Jack is also very polite and friendly to talk to. It’s evident that the owners are passionate about golf. Always have a good time here.

Had an opportunity to play a quick nine while visiting in Prattville. Was able to walk on without a tee time. Jack at the counter was very helpful and directed me to the first tee. Course was in decent shape for a public course especially considering the recent lack of rain. Greens were not great but decent considering the amount of play. Rates were reasonable. I would play there again next time I visit.

The man at this establishment is so rude. We have had two encounters at this establishment and both times he was extremely rude and wouldn’t let us play even with an appointment. Make sure you don’t get stuck in traffic like we did because if you are even a second late (we were one minute late walking in), you will not be able to play and you will lose all of your money. They do not give you your money back. Never again

We enjoyed coming here to play this morning. We had no problem getting a tee time over the phone a few days out. The staff were friendly, especially Jack. We joined up with another single player to help with the pace of play and we finished 18 holes in about 3.5 hours behind the Wednesday Dog Fight group. The course is in good (not great) condition for a municipal course. The carts were electric and were fine. The weather has been dry lately and it's tough to keep things greened up without rain. The greens were slower than we're used to but we still enjoyed our time today. My only criticism…

Friendliest staff ever!! They have been a great supporter of youth golfing and has helped host the ACAA golf tournament for a few years now. I have watched them help kids find the love of the greens and grow a love of golf. Easy to find, great prices, friendly staff, nice course.

I have been to a lot of Golf Courses over the past 25 years since my husband plays Golf. I now have a teenage daughter who plays high school varsity golf. Recently, she wanted to play 9 holes with another varsity girl. (They were rained out from a previous trip with her Dad). We were treated AWFUL from the moment we arrived. The girls wanted to play the back nine bc they played the front nine on the previous visit. An employee rudely MADE them leave the tenth hole and go play the front nine. He made a huge scene in front of the men who were behind us. I was shocked and speechless. We WILL not…

Very good pricing and the staff was friendly. I was able to walk on as a single right away! Cart paths are nice and greens were long but taken care of!
