One of the best courses in the area. The employees are helpful and know what they're doing. Well worth what they charge for a round

Do not play here! I booked a tee time online and the golf course double booked it. Instead of understanding their mistake and trying to fit us in, they were incredibly rude and turned us away. I have never experienced such a thing. Booking a tee time and, instead of playing golf, getting yelled at and the pro shop refusing to let you play. Ridiculous!

Played the course from the whites. Recommend to those 10 hdcp plus. Each hole is separated by trees, water, or hills so no-one ever in your fairway from another hole. Greens undulating and just the right speed and hold good shots. Pace of play at 8am is 3 hrs for 18 with a two-some. Dave at pro shop was very nice. Janet in snack bar can easily juggle 10 things at once! Can’t wait to return!

I recently had the opportunity to play a round of Golf at Providence Golf Club in Davenport Florida. It had been about 8 years since my previous visit and the thing I remembered most was that, other than the golf course, there wasn’t a whole lot out there. My how things have changed; the community has grown up! Providence is easily accessible to area golfers; they are centrally located: just minutes from I-4 and all of the Orlando area attractions as well as both the Tampa and Orlando airports. Providence Golf Club recently underwent a major renovated in 2018, including 21 redesigned and regr…

I’ve played at The Providence Club, Monroe, for the past 2 Wednesdays. I have nothing but good things to say about the course and the Pro Shop staff. Very lil rain in September, but VERY few areas are showing any drought damage.

Course is in pretty good shape. Greens are nice but not real fast. Driving range here is kind of dumpy - irons only, hitting off mats, and range balls old and beat up.

Nice course. Been a member for years and the membership dues are the best in the area. Only complaint is slow pace of play on busy days. I don’t think the rangers ever ask slow groups to speed up.

Greens are still a little sandy, but they make up for it in friendliness, good tee boxes, great fairways and awesome landscape. The greens are average speeds, and the club house is nice.

Food is mediocre. Loud inside the clubhouse. Broken chairs outside and no umbrellas.
