My third time on this beautiful course and I love it even more! When I am in from out of town, I always bring my clubs because I know I will want to play this course. It is in pretty good shape considering the heat, and the pace of play was absolutely perfect! We never waited on the team ahead of us and barely saw the team behind us - the timing was golden. The holes are challenging, the staff is fantastic and the layout is sublime. I will return at every opportunity!

Showed up for my 8:30 tee time with my daughter as I usually do to my wife being on deployment. No greeting or anything just right off the bat aggressively telling me bringing my daughter is a huge liability not once but twice due to her age. No other course has ever had an issue with my daughter coming with me. When I stated if I want to go golfing I have no choice but to bring my daughter. The guy at the front desk stated “well sometimes it’s not the right choice”. Well you know what the right choice is? Never coming back to this course to be belittled as a parent. I’ve been to this course s…

Great beginner/intermediate track 10 minutes from Virginia Beach oceanfront resorts. Reasonably priced and great staff. Bonus is having Super Hornets do flyovers every 15 minutes so you get a free air show with your green fee!

Redwing golf course is in terrible shape. Ground is hard and dry. Fairways are cut way to short. The rough is high. Tee boxes are hard and bare. Greens are not cut or rolled. They were slow. Some greens were even burnt. What makes it even worse they want to charge 50 bucks for this. A oceanfront course and they want to rob people. Never again.

Great course, the greens were a little slow but in good shape. I always have a great experience when I play here. Didn't see the Bald Eagles this time but a deer ran in front of us. Neat!

Excellent course. Not much sand but almost every hole has a water hazard. Good challenge. Very beautiful!

Decent public course, ground was a little hard, brown spots on some of the fairways, greens in decent condition, the carts were about as good as my power wheels from 1999, but it gets the job done. Staff was nice enough, one of the gentleman behind the counter was a little rude about me accidentally carrying my clubs inside because I didn’t feel like leaving a set of 2000$ clubs out of my sight but overall mostly everyone else was friendly.

Had a great time playing 18 holes. There is a quite a bit of water to play over or around. Greens and fairways are fast!
