The First Tee of Hampton Roads

Great place to learn the game of golf. All of the staff is extremely helpful. My son loves it and I do too!

This is a great facility to for kids to learn to play golf. The nine hole course is fun for a family to play. I was surpsired it was in such good condition. My youngest even enjoyed the range and putting green. My son enjoyed his week long summer camp. The instructors helped him with the basics and he improved significantly in his four days of camp. The price of the camp was also good. Hampton Roads is lucky to have this facility to expose golf to the young.

Great facilities to teach kids golf!!!

My son really enjoys the classes that are offered. I wish there was a requirement that parents had to stay and watch for certain age groups. Quite a few kids goofing off with only two young instructors made it impossible for other kids to focus.

We have been coming to First Tee for years, and love it! Great programs for golfers of all ages and abilities. Our kids have learned skills not only for golfing, but for teamwork, etiquette, independence, and perseverance. Highly recommend.

Great place for families to join and play par 3 holes.

I've always wanted to get my kids (boy 9, girl 11) into playing golf, but they were never interested. So, we decided to sign them up at the First Tee summer camp. After the first day, they absolutely loved it!! We ended up doing the summer camp a second time and are now into the First Tee's Saturday golf lessons. Also, we joined the First Tee. For a whopping $35 a month (only $18 per month for YMCA members), you can have UNLIMITED PLAY for entire family and two buckets of balls for the driving range. Nice place, I went there as a guest to hit a couple balls on the range, It's still in great shape since my son was a 1st team paticipnt 21years ago. What a great program .

Great place for the family to go play golf. course was in pretty good condition and the pace of play is not bad. holes are not very long but adults can practice their short iron game!

Jenna and Denise were great help today - they surely added to the positive experience! The kids loved playing on the 9-hole course.

Fun little golf course that's great to go and smack a few around. Well kept and perfect for beginners.
