In summary

Reedy Meadow Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability, beginner-friendly layout, and generally pleasant staff, making it a suitable choice for new golfers and those seeking a casual round. The course features wide fairways and decent greens, although some players have noted issues with the condition of the fairways and tee boxes, which are sometimes artificial turf. However, there are concerns about slow pace of play and customer service experiences, which have been inconsistent.

Fairways was pretty beat up during the drought. Greens were still in decent shape. Cheap course including cart rental. Good starter course or for the 60+ crowd.

Late in the season and during a water ban but still, lots of brown and awful tee boxes! **A Memorable Night on the Greens at Reedy Meadow** *By BuffaloBo* Tonight, the scenic Reedy Meadow Golf Course played host to an evening of camaraderie, competition, and unforgettable memories. As the sun set over the lush fairways and perfectly manicured greens, a group of friends gathered for a friendly round of golf, culminating in a celebration that will be cherished until our next outing. The weather was nothing short of perfect, with a mild breeze and clear skies, creating ideal conditions for a…

The greens are in decent shape (slow), but the rest of the course is terrible. Parts of the fifth and sixth holes are not playable. It is a shame that town of Lynnfield spends so little resources on what could be a very nice course, but spends huge money at King Rail at Market Street (slightly better course than Reedy Meadow). Wait till June, the course may have dried out. I can only imagine how terrible the rail trail will be maintained, after spending millions to build 3 mile walk thru the marsh.

Pace of play is terrible. It took us 45 minutes to get through TWO holes. There was no marshal keeping track of pace of play. Multiple tee boxes are not grass- they are green rugs over rocks - you can’t put a tee in through them.

The starter was very rude. I was riding along with my boyfriend not playing but my boyfriend did pay for me to play, the starter informed us that we both needed bags even though. I wasn’t playing. The way the situation was handled was not very professional. The starter could of approached us nicely but he was very rude

Decent 9 hole course with a nice variety of distances. Bring the whole bag because you'll probably use almost all the clubs. Pretty open layout with some quirks in the design, few hazards, decent greens conditions but decent to poor tee boxes. Some tee boxes looked like they were under maintenance so a few of them were wood platforms with driving range mats on top, not very fun to hit from. Very walkable course with greens to next tee distance pretty short. I was told it's usually a very quick course with 9 holes under 2 hours while walking but we were backed up behind a weekend tournament so…

I played for the first time there by myself today. I was paired with 3 other men at a 7:00 AM tee time. I thoroughly enjoyed how pleasant everyone was, from the men I played with to the staff. The course seems to be in about average condition for a municipal course. The fairways are wide and straight. There are many beautiful trees on the course, including cedars and white pine. During the pandemic, there are no pins and the cups are raised out of the ground. I prefer to have the pin in, but just not remove them. You can see better where you want to hit. I recommend this course to others. The…

Horrendous customer service. A friend and I arrived for our 3:50 tee time and were told that the women’s league, which wasn’t supposed to start until 4p was already teeing off early and we would have to wait only about 20 mins. Shouldn’t have happened, but fine 20 mins no big deal. We wait, then get ready to go and as we’re about to tee off a different guy comes out and tells us we have to wait until 5 cuz the league is 4-5p. Not only was it different from what we were originally told, when I tried to calmly explain what happened to us, the guy would not listen and was extremely rude. I worked…

Great starting course for new golfers. Wide open except 6. Only issues are fairways are a little burned though could be because of a water restriction. Tee boxes are turf so its hard to get your tees in. But greens are in pretty good condition and for the price you can't complain.

Decent course. Tee boxes are turf, so it's hard to set your tee.. hard to lose a ball as most holes are wide open. Except for that damn par 3 hole maybe #5 or 6. Gets me every time. Lost 3 balls and still had to drop one.
