This course was just ok. For $250 I really expected better as far as aesthetics. Really nice club and layout but fairways and rough could be mowed better/closer. Hairy, slow greens not playing any break. Also some dead spots. Lots of potential if they get an adequate grounds crew.

Course was in great shape. The staff was extremely friendly. Next time I am in Destin will definitely play there again

We played here yesterday and it was absolutely lovely! We were hesitant because of the reviews about construction but it didn't bother us at all. It was only on two holes and didn't affect our experience. The greens at courses in this area were damaged by the snow in February (explains the reviews on a lot of the Destin area courses) BUT Regatta Bay greens were perfect! Fast and beautiful. Emerald Bay greens were not nearly as nice - we played there on Monday. Still a great course though. The service at Regatta was on point. We felt like royalty. Pace of play was great on a weekday - our round…

Course is in fantastic shape. Greens & fairways are basically perfect. Everything here from the facilities to the actual course feels very high end, but the thing that sets this place apart from the other courses I played while in Destin is the service. Every single person was incredibly friendly and kind. Shout out to Tom in the pro shop went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of

Disappointed. Paid full rate and expected the course to reflect the rate. The practice area was mats only and the chipping and sand practice was closed. The greens were just Ok. Sanded and grainy. We booked as a twosome and they wanted to squeeze a 3 ball with us. Seems to be poorly run and the tee sheet guy was clueless on why we were going off as a fivesome. Much better courses in the area at a better price with good practice ranges open in the same week.

Regatta Bay Golf Club is an awesome golf experience. The staff are friendly and the course condition is excellent. There’s no need to roll or touch the ball in the fairways because of the great condition. The rough is challenging but appropriate length. The greens are challenging from a speed / break perspective. I really enjoyed the course and friendly staff. Thanks

Updating my original review. Played the course again on 3/2/19 and they've lost most of the greens. Really bad shape and I wouldn't recommend playing here. I was told they're closing during the summer months and hope to reopen near the end of summer after replacing the greens. Wait until then to play here. Regatta is a really nice course with a great layout. When reviewing courses I try to take cost into consideration and when I played late May 2018 the conditions just weren't what I'd expect from a course that charges $129. There were two greens that had pretty bad dead spots (one pictured b…

Visited the emerald coast on early June 2018. After looking at multiple courses we settled on Regatta Bay. I am giving it 4 stars. The course was in great shape. The fairways were like carpet and the rough was cut appropriately to punish you just enough. The greens were pretty sandy which made putting interesting and it covered my ball with each putt. The bunkers were properly placed and added some difficultly which I enjoyed. The carts included GPS which helped judge distance. The driving range was closed so we didn't get to warm up which explains why the green fee was discounted since the ra…

What a beautiful course that is maintained immaculately maintained . Has to be one of the best courses in the Florida panhandle. I do recommend getting there early. Traffic on 98 is notoriously bad and now it's under construction . Also take advantage of the driving range and putting green . Staff is super nice and accommodating.

Awesome course. Only issue was a house owner from hole 16 was absolutely absurd and a complete A hole. He yelled at me for hitting his house with a golf ball on the drive..... dude you live on a golf course??? Great staff and prob the best maintained course i played in the area.

Regetta Bay Golf is overpriced. I expected a higher level experience for $195. We were forced into hitting off mats on the range. Plus, the greens were recently aerated. I spent three holes stretching my head why the starter forced two strangers to share a cart after we were told that there were no tee times 60 minutes after our group of three singles. Honestly, I couldn't wait to finish because it was so awkward. As for the course, the course was in good shape with fast greens and wide fairways. There aren't really any memorable holes except the 8th.

Great golf course. Very Beautiful. I gave my fare share of ball donations to the water hazards. Very Challenging but fun coarse for someone like me who shoots 100 to 110. Recommend playing but beware of water and bring some extra balls!
