Bluewater Bay Resort

Played here recently. The layout is fun and very typical Florida style, with water coming into play on several holes and well-placed bunkers that make you think off the tee. The greens were in good shape and rolled true. The fairways were very brown and quite dry during our round, which took away a bit from the overall visual impression. This is the worst golf course in the entire state of Florida the fairways are nonexistent consisting of dirt and sand. The greens are in good shape and the tea boxes are nice. This course should cost $20 Atmos to play. Save your money go to the driving range.

We were great full for the big golfers camping trip, they enjoyed the food and drinks. We make people happy, proud and fully joyed

I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews on this course. We played on March 6th, 2026 and it was a really enjoyable time. The greens and tee boxes are in great shape and despite what other reviewers seem to think, the majority of the fairways have virtually no bare spots. The worst golf course I’ve ever seen. Totally unplayable. The greens have zero grass, literally. No warning from the website or pro shop as to the awful conditions. We left after 9 holes. Asked the manager for a refund and she said: “I can be as stubborn as anybody and you’re never getting your money back.” Very unprofessional. I’ll take care of it through my credit card company. Don’t walk from this course, RUN!

Had a very enjoyable round today at The Golf Club at Bluewater Bay. I truly appreciated the 10-minute tee time intervals, which made for a relaxing pace of play. It's clear the new management is putting extra attention into getting the course back into shape. Can't wait to see the progress!

Played the course February 17, 2026. This was the WORST condition course I have ever played. I am aware that grass is dormant during winter months in Floriday but 80 percent on the fairways had no grass. Every shot was off of sand. Tha bad part is they charge full price to play this course. The layout of the course is nice but the conditions are horrible. Will not play this course again.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!! Worst course I've ever played and I've been playing since 4 years old. 71$!!!!!! Are you kidding me?!?! Every tee box and green were absolutely trashed. Pic is of the first hole green with a broken sprinkler just running non stop. Guy inside charged us for 2 rounds and initially wouldn't admit it even though we showed him the bank account. Don’t waste your money here. There is no grass on the tee boxes or on the greens. I was looking to play a nice Florida golf course and ended up spending 55$ per person to wait behind a group of 8.

First of all the lady at the desk took over 30 mins to check us in then when we get checked in the golf cart marshall got mad at us for being late even though we were 30 mins early. The fairways are god awful it’s like a bowling lane and again getting yelled at for being”late” when I was 30 mins early is ridiculous they need to lose their jobs or find new people to run the course. My suggestion would be Dennis the other Marshall should run the course since he had a positive attitude and was a cool guy.

Bluewater Bay Golf is an utter disgrace to any Florida resident and golf itself. I had the displeasure of playing today with my brother. We played all 18 holes and I can say for certain this was the worst course I’ve ever seen. This course looks like my deceased Mother’s backyard (Absolutely feral). This course looks like the aftermath of a Project X style party. When you play, you can’t tell if you’re in a sand trap or the fairway due to how poorly kept up it is. Please for the love of gosh do not waste $55 on this terrible course. It’s a waste of time. Might as well light your money on fire and stay home, you’d be better off. The greens speak for the course itself.
