In summary

Indian Bayou Golf Club is frequently praised for its pristine course conditions, with well-maintained fairways and greens that offer a satisfying golfing experience. The staff is consistently highlighted for their friendliness and professionalism, enhancing the overall atmosphere of the club. While some visitors find the pricing to be on the higher side, especially given its location in a tourist area, the quality of the course and amenities generally justify the cost for many players.

We played Indian Bayou Country Club twice over Labor Day weekend and could not have been more impressed. The course was in pristine condition, with lush fairways and perfectly manicured greens that made every round enjoyable. The layout is challenging yet fair, offering a great experience for golfers of all levels. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Pace of play was excellent, and the overall atmosphere of the club is top notch. Indian Bayou is without a doubt one of the best courses on the Emerald Coast. We look forward t…

Was on a great vacation with the family and decided to go golfing one day and chose here based on some of the pictures and reviews I’ve seen of the course and let me tell you it’s beautiful and a wonderful course surrounded with great employees like Chris and Rob whom were very helpful on giving me information on the course and helped me find my way around with ease. Definitely wonderful employees to have. Definitely worth the money of golfing here great greens and fairways and the fringes were thick but low cut great for chipping. Fun course would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a…

Golf course was in good shape given the time of year. Tee boxes are in good shape. Greens roll true. Only thing I would say is there is not a lot of grass in the rough right now and I thought the range balls were in need of replacing. The staff here is extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the golf course, from the bag drop staff to pro shop workers. I even had a pleasant interaction with a maintenance worker who asked how my round was going. Definitely the friendliest staff in town. This is the best Destin course after playing here for the first time this past week for the value. After our r…

We had an 8am tee time this morning for our last day in beautiful Destin. We played Emerald Bay, Regatta Bay, and Gator Lakes this week and Indian Bayou was in the best shape with Regatta Bay a close second, Emerald Bay a close third and Gator Lakes trailing in last place --- it is on the Air Force Base and front nine was pretty rough (back nine was better) and we saw three Gators! Indian Bayou's tee boxes, fairways, and greens were all perfect. The staff were all very nice and provided great customer service! In my opinion the carts need upgraded - but that is minor for us. We ate lunch in th…

This course was so awesome! The employees treat you like you’re playing a much more expensive golf course. Plus, the course it self is in amazing condition. The greens are glorious and true, probably the best greens in town! And it was nice to see how much pride the workers took in the course, seeing the edges of sidewalks being trimmed by hand with a stick edger. Plus seeing the workers out laying down new pine needles under the trees. I think this course is underrated, everyone listed off courses for me to play in the area and no one mentions Indian bayou, but Indian bayou is a must play if…

Showed up solo to play a round today. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Course was in incredible shape. Since I was by myself, I was added in with a group of members/locals. They made the round a great experience and welcomed me right in. I could not have asked for a better golf day while down here on vacation.

Really beautiful place! Fairways were in good condition and all the services met the match: there was balls waiting in range, there were also spare tees in carts and towels for freshing up! Little things but made the experience great!

It wasn't the most challenging course I've ever played. There were a lot of wide-open fairways. But probably my favorite course ever. The staff were phenomenal, and you could tell they take a lot of pride in how they manage their course. Their merch was on point, too. They could clean up just marketing their merch online as a lifestyle brand. I hope to get to play it again sometime.

Beautiful course. Great layout. Greens are a little on the small side, but they roll fast and true. I would play again when in the area.

Good place. I picked it because, and its probably more appropriate for, a mid to high handicapper than some other local courses, as Indian Bayou has a limited amount of water holes...course in good shape, despite bermuda being seasonally dormant in spots. Wider fairways. In my opinion the challenge of the course is the smallish, fast greens.
