Rio Bravo Country Club

The new management is spending lots of money to really spice up the fairways, tee boxes, and the food service and restaurant is top tier, it's the best Pizza and other food I've ever had in BAkersfield, ANYWHERE, I'm not joking can't say enough nice things about rio bravo in 2025 - please go and give it a chance

Driving range and chipping area are removed. No warm up area at all. Construction on 3/4 holes. Greens are half dead and full of pot holes. People are nice and layout is fun though.

Recently revisited. Wow/ $100 green fees/ Driving Range ripped out for construction/ construction on the actual course has the Tee’s on the course moved/ half of the carts are not digital/ non existent club house/ Great place but for now under construction for a while.

This place is Beautiful form the moment you step inside. It has great views. I was here for a wedding reception and totally enjoyed it.

With new ownership in six months this place has completely turned around the word is we are only six months in to 10 year plan

Such a cute wedding space. I recently attended a wedding and this was such a cute location for a wedding. I would recommend this venue for special events.

Atmosphere was great. Very welcoming. Food is ok. Not worth the price. However, everyone is different. On my experience was went for an event and we ordered an appetizer platter and steak dinner. Took a very long time to get the steak dinner. Appetizer was missing sliders and they substituted that for jalapeño peppers. Which I do not like. It was just served on the table. No explanation. I didn’t notice that they were missing until I saw other platters later that evening. Steak was tough and bland. For $57 it wasn’t great. Now,this is my experience. I'm a delivery driver who is constantly harassed at the gate. I'm tired of having to sit there while some paranoid old man checks my id every time. Your system makes me feel like a criminal when I'm delivering much needed items to your tenants.

Great challenge of a course,escape to beautiful scenery and rolling hills⛳greens are in good condition and are going to get even better,shot a couple 75s now I'm stuck in the 80s for months 🫨 pretty faces with pretty smiles will help with anything you need🍻🌭

If I could give this place a no star review I would and I don’t have a track record of ever even giving a 1 star review. I’m very reasonable and I know how to treat people especially customers and/or clients. We were going to book our wedding at this venue. This place took our security deposit, went through 3 different managers, their response and their communication skills were equivalent to 2nd graders if that tbh. Then 3 weeks prior to our special event they gave us a bill with hidden gratuity fees for the entire lump sum payment of the event (after taxes) which is illegal mind you in the s…

Get a membership now! if you’re gonna buy a house in the area, buy it around this course! property values are gonna skyrocket over the next 10 years just based on the type of construction work they’re doing with this course. It will be a true country club not to mention great people. Every experience and I have had with the owners has just been overwhelmingly pleasant I really can’t wait to see what they do with the place.

This place was a nightmare to do business with. They deserve zero stars. We put a deposit down in January for a wedding in November. They fired 2 managers in that time, we had to go over all of the contract items 5 times, only to have it presented to us on legal paper hand written with the wrong name and prices that where never talked about or agreed upon including a hidden service fee which is illegal in California.
