In summary

Rolling Hills Golf Club is praised for its friendly staff, affordable pricing, and suitability for beginners or casual play, offering a variety of hole layouts in a relaxed setting. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the course's maintenance, particularly the greens and bunkers, and have noted issues with slow pace of play and crowded conditions. Despite these criticisms, many find it a good value for a fun, budget-friendly round of golf.

To start… I am not the type of person to leave reviews, but I feel like I have to share my experience at this “golf course” to keep someone else from going through the same thing and wasting their money. So the reason I ended up at this course in the first place, is because my wife has just recently gotten into the sport and I wanted to take her to a more relaxed course to work on her game with little pressure. About 3 weeks ago I called and booked a “tee time” for a Saturday around 10am. We pulled into the parking lot and immediately saw 6-8 groups loading their bags into carts and the park…

I’ve played this course around seven times, giving it chance after chance to improve, but unfortunately, it has only declined. I rarely leave negative reviews, but at this point I feel it’s important to help others avoid wasting their money. The greens are in terrible condition... many are covered in sand, and hole 12 is completely closed, creating major backups as players are forced to replay other holes. The cart paths are also in rough shape, and the pace of play is painfully slow, which makes for a frustrating experience. Maintenance is severely lacking. Tree branches are left scattered…

Great starter course, would 100% recommend to new golfers and is a very good price. Picture's posted already are a terrible representation of the course it had a period where they had some weed problems but looks a lot better. Would recommend especially if you just wanna have fun and play some golf.

As a first year member, I can not say how proud I am to call this place my home course. The staff is amazing and treat us like family. We struggled with the heat and over play from Corbin being shut down. But the grounds crew is top notch and it will be back in no time.

Cheap local course, but it's my wife's favorite place to place. It's an easier course, but large variety in the types of holes (dog legs, over water. Up a hill, down a hill, etc).I shot my lowest score there :)

For the price, it’s not bad, but definitely not good. The course itself is solid, but the greens are in god awful condition, and every time I’ve been here that’s been consistent, but maybe I’m unlucky. The bunkers are also very poorly maintained with patches of grass growing in them. If you’re going with friends/ family to have a fun cheap round of golf, this could be the place for that. But if you want a good golf course, or just want to try and improve your game, just wait for Corbin hills to reopen.

Rolling Hills isn’t Augusta National, but it’s a great spot to learn the game or get a quick, casual round in. Built on an old farm, the course has a laid-back feel, with a mix of easier holes and a few that’ll still challenge you. The staff is always friendly, and you really can’t beat the prices. They’ve also made noticeable improvements over the years, especially with drainage in trouble spots, so it’s clear they’re not neglecting the course just because it’s affordable. Great value for the money.

Was on hole 18 a guy that works there was in front of us he cut across the fairway I went right behind him he called me a dumbass that is no way for somebody that works there to talk to somebody paying for golf if you were not supposed to go through their he shouldn't have been on The fairway all I done was followed him I will never go there again he said it was okay because he worked there and then he threatened me nice employees huh

Didn't have to wait and for 20.00 to play all 18 holes and a cart included how can you go wrong. I found it challenging enough to lose a ball or two and yet fun at the same time. There are some long drives so bring your driver and you won't be dissapointed!! I will be back!!
