In summary

The Revival Golf Course At The Crescent is appreciated for its friendly staff, well-maintained greens, and enjoyable layout, which many find to be a highlight. However, some golfers have expressed concerns about the overall maintenance of the fairways, drainage issues, and slow pace of play. While improvements have been noted, there are still areas that require attention to enhance the overall golfing experience.

Here’s what I honestly think of this course pricing is reasonable it has a good layout and could be a good course, reason I’m saying could be is because it’s definitely not maintained for example there’s many holes where the grass in the fairways and or rough is unacceptable hole 3 has craters like you’re on the moon hole 6 is basically all mud for the first 200 yards practically a punishment to hit it in the fairway hole 16 is definitely the worst because there is no grass whatsoever unless you can bomb it onto the green. now the drainage on this course is absolutely awful if it rains within…

Great course Just completely redone greens with Mach 1 Bermuda and they are great. Fairways very good. Greens are challenging and large Very friendly people. They have put a lot of work into making this course one of the best in the area and they continue to make improvements and maintained very well. Give it a try you’ll be glad you did. The people and personnel here are fantastic and treat members and guest like family not just customers. Glad to call this my home course.

Very nice course. Lots of unique holes. Nice large greens rolled extremely well and fast. Would definitely give 5 stars but there are trees down on several holes that are piled up in what should be the rough. I'll be back. Also, the starter was a super cool guy dressed for the job 😎

everything was great.. the only issue is that hole 16 fairway it stinks. needs way more work... shut it down or make it an up par 3 put a hitting mat on the left side of the cart path so you can hit from there so you all can work on the that hole....

Course is definitely not worth $65 especially when we bring 25 golfers. Was told a price over the phone but they didn't honor it once we got there. Some of us drove over a hour to get there. We spent $ in the bar and they still wanted $30 for replay on 9 holes.... Or $40 for 18?.. Greens were ok but the rest of the course was not great and this is prime season. One hole looks like a dirt road??? We won't go back.

Played this course today. Was a walk on greeted nicely and was able to get a tee time within 30 minutes of arrival. Price was $40 for golf and range balls. Not a bad deal. Here are the issues: range is in bad shape. Not level, small area today. Now let’s get to the course. I arrived at 10:45am. There were mowers on hole #11. They were still there when I made the turn. They were inconsiderate of golfers and just kept mowing. Believe me, the fairways and supposedly rough did not need mowing. The course was burnt up with no grass in fairways. Bunkers are not playable and tee boxes awful. Instead…

Decent course with a nice clubhouse and practice area. The fairways and cart paths still need some work, while the greens are nice. A lot of trees and debris have been laying around for a while. Would like to see the course maintenance improve for the price.

Update: Played again in May 2020. Course still played great. Improvements from last year have matured and made the round even more enjoyable than the time. Staff is friendly and price is great. The drive from Charlotte is easy! 2019: Played on a rainy, overcast Sunday (6/9) morning. Greens were in great shape and by far the highlight of the course. It does appear that more work is being done to renovate fairways and build cart paths but none of this impeded our play. I hope conditions continue to improve and be maintained. For golfers, it's a fun course that doesn't require you to hit bombs…
