Easiest 5 stars I’ll give. Played as a single. From the course condition and aesthetic (in November!!) to the excellent and friendly staff. Thank you for a great day.

Absolute hidden gem! The cottages onsite are first-class, the restaurant is awesome, the golf course is wonderfully manicured with a memorable layout, and all of the staff are incredibly hospitable. We had a 12-man weekend trip last year, a 16-man weekend trip this past July, and already have plans to return in 2026! ⛳️

Sandy Pines has it all! Andy (Pro) and his staff are top notch all the way around. Course is ALWAYS well maintained, and the staff provides a truly enjoyable experience. Hands down the best public golf course in the Indiana and Chicagoland!

I’ve been photographing weddings at Sandy Pines for years and it has always been one of my favorite destinations. Julee and her staff are top notch and there aren’t enough superlatives for the bridal suite and gorgeous photo opportunities.

This is a must if you are planning a golf outing. Great facilities and the course is magnificent. Carved out in a beautiful nest of woods in Demotte, IN. The course attendants are the best people. Great weekend get a way

I had the pleasure of making Sandy Pines my weekly Sunday golf course for the past several weeks during the Illinois tighter COVID restrictions on golf. I can say I couldn't be happier, it happened. The facility is top notch and very well taken care of. The course is very challenging, in great shape and very sporty, no matter the conditions. Well worth a 1 hour drive. Brad and staff should be very proud. Thank you for everything!!!

Fast, courteous service and a pretty good menu. I got a few Blue Moon’s on draft and some Cajun linguine with broccoli, bacon and grilled chicken. Fast service on the food and some decent quality drinks to match. Nice atmosphere at a local country club.

From Texas, I met my cousin from Chicago to play here. Both our first times and we’re already wanting to play it again. The course was stunning. Nicest public course I’ve ever played on, and rivals the private courses I’ve been lucky enough to play. For the price, experience, friendliness of staff, restaurant, cleanliness, you can’t beat it. What a great time! Although it’s not a terribly long course, it has a great layout and you have to play strategically which is great fun.

Was at Sandy Pines this past week for a two night stay at the cottages. It’s my third time there I brought in other couples who have never been there. They were blown away by the beautiful cottages the service that people provided to us. I want to shout out Trisha Donnelly, who was amazing in setting this up for us to make it a perfect stay for our whole group everybody Loved the cleanliness the set up everything about the cottages we all golfed. The course was immaculate, fun and challenging everybody from the pro shop to the Rangers to the starters to the folks that worked in the restaurant…

Played as a walk on, Thursday morning, 17 April 2025, and had no issues. My 1st time playing here and I was super impressed. The staff were excellent all around, provided spot on advice for my first time and the course was in great shape - both made for an awesome round. While the greens were much faster than expected, I had a blast. The carts had an excellent navigation system, helping a lot to refine more than the app I use so after a few holes I just used the cart. The course is well layed out and plays excellently and I will play again, when I go back (visiting from VA). The restaurant i…

Played 72 holes here 7/7 & 7/8. Played terrible but super impressed with the course! The bunkers were in excellent shape! The bunker design, with many tapering off into water gave a super cool look! The restaurant food was excellent! The only knock was the air conditioning in the restaurant...it was a little warm. The golf and restaurant staff were great! Definitely a must play if in the area.

My cousin's wedding was beautiful! The Pavilion was a wonderful spot for both the ceremony and reception. 20 tables of guests with lots of room between to walk. Food was good and staff were friendly and attentive.
