In summary

Shadow Glen Golf Club receives mixed reviews, with many praising its friendly staff, well-maintained greens, and upgraded golf carts with GPS. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the condition of the fairways and tee boxes, and there are frequent complaints about the aggressive cart settings and pace of play management. While some find the course expensive relative to its condition, others appreciate the overall experience and amenities provided.

First time at this course on a Thursday afternoon. Was not too busy and the staff was great, told them it was our first time and they showed us where everything was at very helpful. Course was in good condition, only thing was tee boxes needed to be cut but they just reseeded not too bad. Will definitely be back.

Decent course, drink cart employee was nice and friendly and was consistently available. Course Marshalls were polite however the course carts were very aggressive about being behind even though people in front were blocking us. I would strongly recommend that the owners tone down their cart settings as it was extremely annoying. The course was also fairly expensive relative to other course in the area.

Played in January on cold day, was incredibly impressed with the course. Greens in great condition, rolling well. Staff super friendly, wasn't able to finish due to the weather and Ian director of golf caught me on the way out and provided a nine hole voucher for the next trip so could complete full 18. Thoughtful gesture and will certainly be back!

Great course that’s always in good shape. Not sure why so many others are complaining on here. The carts can be slightly annoying at times but the staff are super friendly and the course plays quick.

Course just got a new fleet of golf carts, now have a touch screen GPS and all carts have ice chests. Good upgrade! Now for the golf course, it's in AMAZING condition! Best course tee to green I've played this year. Greens really good, fairways plush, tee boxes need some love, but out of the three better the tee box than fairways or greens. Definitely call for a tee time or just book online. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️'s

Funny how pace of play was mentioned, considering the closest group behind us was at least two holes away for most of the round. Might be worth the course investing a little more into accurate GPS systems in the carts — we finished our round with no one remotely near us. Carts were also finicky throughout the round - might as well be cart path only. If you're considering playing here for the first time, take a moment to read how the owner responds to any form of criticism. That alone should give you a good idea of what kind of customer service to expect. What really sealed the deal for me wa…

Prepare to be harassed and berated. The cart is geofenced and will definitely cut you off in the fairway. Fall five minutes behind pace and you will have two staffers confront you multiple times and sit in your line of site for numerous holes. I've never payed so much to have a literal downer of a time. The course is not nice enough and they act as if it is blessed. I can't express how terrible of an experience this was. I left after 9 holes.

Guys in the clubhouse are complete idiots. I was a single playing with two other singles. I paid for 18 holes but was only planning to play 9 because the weather was not ideal. I told the guys in the pro shop that I’d like to have my own cart so I could leave without disrupting the others round and they charged me an extra $36. Meanwhile the other two guys had their own cart and didn’t pay anything extra. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Staff: 5/5 Food/Bev: 5/5 Carts: 5/5 Pace of play: 4/5 Tees: 4.5/5 Greens: 2.5/5 Fairways: 2/5 ***this was “winter golf” Carts had GPS which made this a much better round trying to figure out the layout. If they manage the turf when it warms up, this might be a great course.

Other good reviews must not play much. Wasted money on new carts. greens, bunkers and green side are not good. The greens are fury and slow. Layout is nice. range is muni gras, meaning your divot will not give good feedback. Overall overpriced for course conditions.

if i could rate this course 0 stars i would. Tee boxes: 0/5 Bunkers: 1/5 Greens: 0/5 (worst ive ever played on) Ridiculously overgrown greens, tee markers placed halfway off the tee box, and uncut fairways, all for the LOW PRICE of $110😂 What a joke. The greens alone made this experience miserable. Ive played on putt-putt courses that were in better condition. Seriously, the greens were so thick it felt like i was putting out of a fairway the entire round. To top it off, the ranger threatened to kick us out for slow pace, even though the closest groups were two holes behind us and three ah…

For winter golf, these guys do a good job. The selective overseeding seemed strategic and well thought out. Greens were consistent and very playable. Staff is friendly and seem genuinely interested in making sure you have a good experience. Watch for snakes in the boardwalk/marshy areas. Saw a fat cottonmouth a while back.
