Spotswood Country Club

Spotswood is one of the best golf courses located in the southern Shenandoah Valley. The course is relatively hilly and features small undulating greens making it a challenging layout. The staff were very polite and courteous and made me feel welcome during my round. The course is private but is a must play if you can find a way on.

Attended a golf tournament at the club and had a great time. Beautiful well maintained course with friendly helpful staff. Hope to be back again.

Very friendly staff and beautiful course.

We were members for several years but quit when we had children. There were several snobs who looked down on us for bringing our children to the club. Especially an older couple who held court in the dining room with their own, private table in the front of the dining room. It was pathetic watching people come in and grovel/pay homage to this couple who had to be in the 80s. It was a very dysfunctional, anti-family environment so we quit.

Great food pricing great quality food wonderful staff

My husband's family has been eating there during the holidays for generations. The new management really ramped up the food for Thanksgiving. It was by far the best we have had in many years. I hope they keep it up. It was wonderful.

This course is great. It's tight enough and has enough interesting holes to be a challenge while still being forgiving at times. The course itself is in immaculate condition with beautiful fairways and greens. Absolutely worthy of playing a round here.

Danielle the new food and beverage director is very touchy and makes members feel very uncomfortable. I can see this place tanking in the next year. It has gotten very desperate. I will be canceling my membership ASAP!

Extremely nice place to play. It’s private but sometimes they offer a way for the public to play. If you get a chance, do it.

Nice golf course, and well maintained, but employee assistance I received in the pro shop was the reason for a "5". Outstandingly helpful, friendly, and accommodating!
