The course at The Club of Staunton is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. The fairways and greens are always in great condition, and the layout makes for a fun and challenging round of golf. The scenery around the course is stunning, which makes the experience even better. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in keeping the course in top shape. Whether you’re a local golfer or visiting the area, this course is definitely worth playing! Highly Recommend!

Ironwood is one of the better courses in the Shenandoah Valley and is always in good condition. The views from the course are amazing and the layout is very player friendly and isn’t overly difficult. It’s also among the most affordable courses in the valley and has an amazing staff as well.

I have played the Club of Staunton several times now and I like the way it challenges my game. The sloping reads on the greens and fairways are a good test of golf. And the vista is absolutely beautiful. I will play it again and would recommend it to anyone in the area to try it, you'll like it too!

Rude and condescending staff ruined the experience. Front desk staff was argumentative, telling our group that we were lucky he was allowing us to continue golfing after cows escaped onto the course and delayed us for 15-20 minutes. Experience would be improved by decreasing elitist attitudes and calmly approaching situations.

Golf course is very hilly, rollercoaster effect. Greens were in perfect conditions.. Fairways were long and only one mower blade shorter than the rough. Definitely gave us a workout. Saw lots of wildlife, from deer to a beaver.

Played a few months ago when it was still "Ironwood" and greens were dry / cracked hard as concrete. Heard they changed their name and ownership so I decided to stop by and check it out too see if it had improved and maybe hit the range and putting green for a quick practice session. The GM standing by green like a Walmart greeter informed me they are "partnering with the hotel" and t the range and practice green are members only. So a public course pretending to be private with an empty pro shop which you would be lucky to find a glove in your size and that's ALL they have. Used to be one of…

Great day of golf. Beautiful fall day. Course conditions were outstanding, pace of play perfect. Friendly staff, we played 27 holes on this glorious day! Challenging but fun course!

Sad to see another course in the area getting overpriced. Course isn't in terrible shape, but its pretty clear theyre trying to go private and price out the average golfer. Staff is friendly enough, but $80+ for a round is insane. They know they next best courses are 30 mins away, and they're taking advantage

Course is just okay. Used to play here quite frequently. Prices have gotten outrageous for what is, at best, a mid-level municipal. A bunch of stuffy country club types that don't like non-members practicing on the putting green either. Wouldn't recommend unless you get a deal on golf now.

Absolutely nobody behind us for our bachelor party, couldn’t play with five people because the wrinkly people behind us couldn’t. No cart girls? No food at the turn? Absolutely the worst course and experience I’ve had in my long golfing career. This is a members club? Do better!

Clubhouse is aged and there are plans for Repair.Wait staff turns over regularly. Membership at the club is under 300. So the restaurant is not heavily used. Menu is limited, but items are offered for all sorts of appetites. The bar is good. Parking is good.
