Spring Creek Golf Club

Spring Creek is one of the best golf courses near Charlottesville. It is very challenging, the course is long, greens are very fast, and every hole is picturesque. It is private so you will have to play with a member but if you get the chance don't pass it up. As of today, May 2nd, 2025, they also have a brand new fleet of Golf Carts which are fantastic! The food is great, and all the fairways, greens, amd bunkers are emmacualety maintained! 5/5 Star course!

We play here once or twice a year, with our member friends, and it's one the best tracks in central Virginia. The clubhouse is very nice with good drinks and food. Always love visiting this course.

Best public golf course I have played in VA. Seriously, the conditioning and attention to detail all throughout the course is far better than most private clubs I have been to - you can really tell the folks at Spring Creek take pride in their course and services. The most beautiful place to have your wedding!!! My videographer captured the most awesome arial views and Spring Creek is absolutely GORGEOUS!! Very pleasing on the pockets as well. We had the most beautiful ceremony, like a true fairytale. We worked with the most wonderful staff, Michelle McNamara was an absolute GEM. She was so attentive and easy to work with. Played at 6/13/23 on the way of my fishing trip. Like the layout and the course is in great conditions with a lot of woods. Only 18th has water. $85 at 3pm weekend is a little expensive for me .I was flattered by asking if I am UVA student and actually my son went to UVA few years ago.

Awesome course and great service. Our group was greeted by Kevin in the Pro Shop and we couldn’t have been treated any better. First class all the way. Food on the patio overlooking the 18th green was also great! Will definitely be back.

I want to commend PGA Pro Kevin Haney and the staff at Spring Creek Golf Club for helping the Ronald McDonald House of Charlottesville put on a first-class event in early October. The facilities and course are second to none in the area. We look forward to bringing this great event back to Spring Creek next year.

We really loved our experience at Spring Creek. The course even if it was in fall was in good condition, the course is a good challenge but a fun one! The staff is amazing like the facilities. If we have the chance to travel back to virginia for golf we will play at Spring Creek again for sure.

Absolutely amazing golf course. Bring plenty of extra balls as this is one of the harder tracks you’ll play. hazards left and right on almost every hole, greens roll FAST and true. Everything is in immaculate condition aside from a few collection areas. My only gripe is there are several collection areas on some of these fairways, and it seems as though people are not filling in their divots.

I will definitely have to agree with all the previous reviews. My wife and I spent the day yesterday at the driving range, playing golf, eating at the restaurant. The service was just top notch and the course was beautiful! The biggest impression it left on us was the service though, just a incredibly friendly group that went above and beyond to truly make us feel like special guests at their course. We will be back again, thanks so much for an outstanding day!

This is one of the best public golf courses in VA!! Always well kept and the staff is super friendly. If you want to try something different ask for a Finn Scooter and zip around the course.

The golf course is simply incredible. The greens run fast and the layout can be as challenging as you would like depending on the tee box you choose. I would highly recommend this course.
