Glenmoor Country Club

Playing at The Club at Glenmore was absolutely incredible. From the staff to the conditions of the course everything was stellar. The entire staff were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The course was in fantastic condition. The greens were awesome and the ball rolled true. I couldn’t have asked for a better day.

I recently had the opportunity to compete at The Club at Glenmore during the Virginia State Championship with the Veterans Golf Association, and it left a lasting impression. Having played more than 200 golf courses, I can say with confidence that Glenmore has quickly become one of my favorite places to play. Excellent course, a very playable track that provides opportunities for great golf and beautiful scenic views. A must photo spot is the 16th green which allows you to see the three finishing holes I never felt like we were in a populated area.

I played in the Veterans Golfers Association Virginia state championship. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and lunch were both very good. The main reason I was there was to play golf. The course layout was very fair with generous fairways and receptive greens. Elevation changes and well placed bunkers made the course both challenging and fun. The course superintendent had the course in great condition. I absolutely enjoyed my day there and hope to be able to play there again.

We have used Glenmore catering for several large parties at our home and at the Glenmore Pavillion over the past 3 years. The Glenmore catering team is terrific and the whole process is smooth. It starts with Kim who skillfully helps us to think about space, party flow and the best appetizers for each event. The staff at the events have always been wonderfully professional, making sure everything is set up for the party—including giving ideas about table placement. We recently hosted our daughter's wedding welcome party at The Club at Glenmore in their outside gazebo. It was just truly exceptional! The venue's stunning views, elegant atmosphere, and impeccable service created an unforgettable experience. The staff were attentive and accommodating, ensuring every detail was handled. Kim Hayden was amazing to work with. Kim thought of (and remembered) every detail I told her. She was 100% on board with my vision and made it happen. I was able to use my own china which I had collected for my special day. We got married on the 10th Green, had the cocktail hour under the Pavilion and then our reception was in the Ballroom. The Glenmore had a champagne wall for my use, linens, lanterns, bars, and even candle holders. We added some of our own touches, but Glenmore is full service. We were ecstatic with our experience with Glenmore Country Club for our daughter’s wedding reception. Everyone we dealt with was professional & accommodating for the myriad details we requested. The Pavilion was a beautiful, well staffed & decorated venue for photos & cocktails. The ballroom was a perfect setting for our dinner & festivities .. it was also well staffed & the food was absolutely exceptional! The Glenmore Club is a great venue for delicious food, great communication, and reasonable pricing. I recently retired from the military and had a dinner party for 35 people in the Rivanna Room at the Glenmore Club. From start to finish, this was a great event. Molly promptly communicated all the info I needed, and met to go over details. Chef Frederick did a tasting with us so we could narrow down the menu choices to offer our guests. The events director Kim was incredibly helpful and efficient, and worked alongside the excellent wait staff during the dinner to ensure everything was perfect.…

I joined Glenmore club 5-years ago and it was the absolute best decision I made while living in Charlottesville! The team At Glenmore including Michelle, Matt, Sue and many more made me feel like family. The community was a gentle landing for my husband and me after several moves from multiple states. I encourage folks to come and take a tour and meet the staff. From golf to my favorite….the pool….and pickle ball you will be impressed. I moved back to Pennsylvania to be closer to family and I will be forever grateful for my experience at Glenmore and will miss it very much!!!

I don't give 5 stars often (always room for improvement, you know?), but I do for The Club at Glenmore! We had our wedding here and our day couldn't have been better imagined. Kim is the most thoughtful, professional, and helpful woman. She makes it all seem so effortless, and even with the "what if" scenarios she had a plan! She worked SO well with our vendors and if anything went wrong I had no clue about it! The chef and kitchen staff really outdid themselves too! The food was perfection, no one has anything negative to say about it, and so many went for seconds and thirds there was nothing…

Great course! Although challenging, the course was beautiful and in excellent condition. All of the staff encountered were immensely courteous and professional. Looking forward to the opportunity to play there again.
