In summary

Springfield Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, well-maintained course, and affordable membership options, offering a good value for the area. The course layout is noted for having a challenging front nine and a more forgiving back nine, with a variety of tournaments and activities available. However, some visitors have reported issues with membership billing, course conditions, and treatment of beginner players, which have impacted their experience.

I played here a couple years ago, with my Grandpa who is a member. The staff was incredibly friendly, the course was beautiful ( at the time getting a face-lift) and well maintained. I will forever hold this course near my heart. Thank you so much!

This is a nice course for the price. The greens are in decent shape as are the fairways. It’s not a very difficult course but still fun to play. They’ve had trouble with their greens the last few years, but they seem to have it under control now.

Course is in great shape and the best value in Springfield. Very friendly members, fun laid back guys and not stuffy. A lot of great tournaments. Staff is friendly and take good care of the members. I think there was some challenges with the condition or the course a few years ago but it’s certainly not the case now. I’ve very much enjoyed being a member at this club. Jeff M

A challenging front 9 but a more forgiving back 9. Really nice course. It is a private membership course.

DONT EVER GET A MEMEBERSHIP HERE. THEY WILL KEEP CHARGING YOUR CARD RANDOMLY AND TRYING TO USE YOUR ORGINAL SIGNATURE TO KEEP PURSUING THE MONEY. WOULD GOVE ZERO IF POSSIBLE. I’m not the only one either beware before signing your life away THEY RAN MY CARD UP AFTER THE FACT OF MY MEMBERSHIP THERE THEN USED MY OLD SIGNATURE TO MAKE IT VALID

Payed the incredibly steep fees to play, brought a first time golfer with me, and they kicked us off the course for “not having two golf bags.” Basically told us I need to buy an entire golf set of golf clubs just so my friend can try a new sport. I explained that we were letting anyone who caught up to us through, as to not delay anyone, but nonetheless removed us. Immediately got a refund. Prices and treatment it not worth it even if you are a resident. Wouldn’t not recommend to any new, or causal golf players.

Giving it 1 star due to the so called Head Pro John. His smart mouth overruns his brain, heard that he's leaving, so that will be a much better improvement. Good riddance John!!!

My dad has been a member of this golf course for at least 15 years and I have never once had a bad experience here. The location is gorgeous, the staff is incredible and the amenities are always clean. Our kids love the pool in the summer and Ive used the workout area, which is always quiet and well-maintained

Front 9 is tough, back 9 is more forgiving. But that's me. Great course, well keep.

Best value in the area for monthly unlimited golf with cart and range balls for the whole family. Course is in pretty decent shape and staff has been friendly. Lots of leagues and tournaments to participate in as well if you desire.

We have been members for only 2 months now and could NOT be happier. My fathers country club was a nice club, but the restaurant and club house wasn't as nice as this one. And their prices/portions are terrific, very low prices and very nice portions. Good quality food as well. Plus the members, so far, have been above expected and show no signs of being "prima donna's" as most country club members seem to be. The workers at the club are some of the finest people I have met in these situations. The manager has already given lessons to my wife and she has progressed nicely. She is going to do m…

Friendly people and casual. The facilities are older so not really “high class” like the other country clubs, but the workout room, pools, and tennis courts are just as great. I’m told the mature golf course is also amazing and they always have tournaments and fun things happening.
