What People Say

In summary

Sugarbush Golf Club is highly praised for its stunning mountain views, challenging layout, and well-maintained greens, making it a favorite among golfers who appreciate a scenic and demanding course. The staff is often noted for their friendliness and helpfulness, and the on-site restaurant, Hogan's Pub, is a popular spot for post-round refreshments. However, some visitors express concerns about the high cost relative to the course's condition, particularly when maintenance issues arise, and a few have reported negative experiences with course management and staff interactions.

This is a hilly course that features gorgeous vistas on just about every hole. Most will want to ride here both because of the steep hills and the distances between holes. It is definitely challenging to maintain when rain is excessive, but the maintenance staff is dedicated and it usually plays quite well.

We had a lovely experience at the Sugarbush Resort Golf Club! It was meticulously maintained and well spread out, so it never felt crowded. The cart paths took you through the woods at times which was really fun! Nothing tops the stunning views of the ski trails on Lincoln Peak. It is one of the best courses we have played in Vermont!

This picturesque mountain course also boasts a fabulous restaurant with weekly live music. The deck has the best view of any restaurant in the Valley! Full disclosure, I'm not a golfer. I ski the course all winter instead. I do make it over to Hogan's Pub regularly in the summer.

Damn this is a very hard course, 130 rating. Course was in excellent shape, brutal greens, super fast, super undulating. Somewhat pricey but understandable given the shorten season in VT. Great food and drinks at Hogans Pub after golf

Pretty expensive for non-members but the course is in great shape. The ranger basically followed our group the entire front 9, mostly from afar. Felt a bit like big brother watching over us considering we weren't members. He was friendly but made the experience much less enjoyable.

Love this place. I play here every year for a guys golf trip. Track is in great and greens are in amazing shape. They do have a nice practice area and putting green so you can get there early.

Very recently golfed there and it was fabulous. You're on and around a mountain. They do an excellent job prepping this course for play. A quick bite and beer at Hogan's Pub is a must.

$173 for cart and weekend greens fees. This course isn't worth paying $100. The conditions were decent at best. Cart paths were terrible, club house and restaurant are outdated and dingy. No trash cans on the entire course, no water either. For $173 you would think there would be free driving range balls, but no, that's an extra $15. Pretty underwhelming. Not going back.

It is a beautiful course, fair rate of play, friendly people, and they quickly adjusted to the loss of their clubhouse and restaurant/grill.

Beautiful location and the course is in great shape. Tough to get a flat lie.
