Just played a game against the best golfers I know! I've never lost harder and don't look up to anyone more than Rick, Cody, Charlie, and Brooks. I wish I had an ounce of their golfing ability. Oh what I would give...

Just played a round of golf with the best players i’ve ever met. I can’t believe I could’ve probably lost so hard but I guess anything is possible for Cody, Rick, Brooks, and Charlie because they are just that good

Nice and quiet tucked away location. Beautiful scenery on and surrounding the course. The course is challenging and forgiving with wide fairways. Highly recommended if you're in the area. Worth the drive from St. Louis.

Beware of “Ranger Rick”. Took my girlfriend golfing after driving 5 hours to visit her, we got there early enough to beat the league play and started on the back 9. About 3 holes in “Ranger Rick” creepily rolled up and demanded that we play faster to avoid league play (they were 6 holes behind us). He continued to watch us from afar for the next 3 holes prompting us to play faster and that we needed to skip holes. I paid $66 for the two of us to play, which isn’t bad, but being rushed and watched for half of the time was both uncomfortable and frustrating. The final time he stopped us I had en…

Course wasn’t in bad shape greens looked like we just had a hail storm. Stopped!!! 2 times in front nine for slow play even though we finished front in 2 hours. No cart girl. Overall way too… expensive for a non challenging course with people with bad attitudes. We finished right at 4 hours . Won’t go back again!!!!

I want to give it a 5 stars but it was extremely wet," not there fault". It was cart path only so things went slower than we were hoping. We needed to cut it short after 9 holes and the manager was completely understanding and gave us a rain check for the back 9. I recommend it and we will be back.

Dog track of a course. Every fairway was nearly burnt up and had to play the ball 20 yards short on every shot to adjust for roll out on the concrete greens. Played on a Saturday morning and took 2 hours and 40 minutes to make the turn. Never saw a ranger out on the course keeping pace throughout the round. 8 minute tee times are too close together. At the turn, we go into the Pro Shop to get rain checks as we didn’t have 5+ hours to play a round. Guy at the counter says can’t do it just because it’s busy. Right above his head there is a sign that says “Customers on the course less than 3 ho…

*Long-winded praise incoming* Tamarack, my friends and I love to play your course! Let me just take this moment to say that personally, you are my favorite local course. We are grateful for you. The guys up front in the club house always treat us with grace and are very friendly. Today we brought a friend who is learning the sport on a rainy day and for the kind of weather we had, Tamarack has the best greens and fairways I've had for a rainy day so far this winter. My friends and I have played many local courses in the last month in these same conditions and I can say definitively that Tamar…

I wish I could give this course 5 stars being the closest to me and it’s usually in decent shape for how much traffic it gets, but after what they pulled today I won’t be back. Booked online for $35 and got charged $65. MESSED UP. The guy said summer rates go into effect when the time changes. If you don’t get off early might as well plan on 5+ hour round. It’s always over booked or just backed up bc of no marshals and people playing 2 balls each. Last year I got hit in the head standing on tee #9 from a guy teeing off on #5. No apology just a snarky joke about maybe he should call his lawyer.

Its not the longest course, but it definitely offers a challenge. The greens and fairways are in fantastic shape. The biggest challenge was definitely putting. The undulation will get you if your not careful. My group will definitely play here again. The only reason its not getting 5 stars is the tee boxes needed some work and there needs to be nets on the side of the range, especially on number 10. There were a lot of range balls in the 10th fairway. Also some breakfast options would would have been cool. But all and all its a great course.

Decent course, since its been so dry Fairways are very hard so the lies are tight and hard tp pick since its nearly impossible to take a divot. Greens are fast and challenging. Makes for an interesting round.

Decent course but dont go when its crowded unless you want to be there for 6 hours. Only the most greedy course owners put tee times every 8 minutes.
