In summary

Tara Greens Golf Center offers a variety of golfing options, including a pitch and putt, driving range, and mini-golf, all at reasonable prices. The staff is generally described as friendly, and the facility is appreciated for its simplicity and accessibility for casual golfers. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, inconsistent operating hours, and the condition of certain amenities, such as tees and bunkers.

The mini golf course is as I remembered from the 90s, there are obstacles that make it fun and challenging. However, there has been little to no up keep. There is also little to no pest care of the area (note the numerous ant hills in the putting area) and my son got a tick on his head while he was there. Pictures attached. 8 bucks for all ages, there is no lower limit.

I'll give this place a good rating when it's actually open. It's always seemingly closed, never following listed hours. For the couple times I did actually go there, it's nice to be in the driving range with the covered area. Prices for the balls aren't bad either. It's too bad that they can't be open or heck even pick up the phone... We'll have to find a new go to range now...

In general, this place is very simple and a nice little place for pitch and putt, driving range and now mini golf is back. The mini golf is basic (I've been to better), but still fun for most people. Pitch and putt was alway my favorite here. Prices are not too expensive and the staff is nice.

The pitch and put is good, but the holes should be better marked so you know where the next hole is. We did the driving range afterwards on a late Saturday afternoon and there was a group lesson hogging multiple bays. The three of us returned our balls as we couldn’t wait around too long for some to open.

UPDATE: New management has certainly made a difference . Bunkers are back to being bunkers. Fairways and greens are good not great but it is the late fall. Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall the course is in much better shape now then 3 years ago. Most of the players seem to be playing the holes in order now. We have played about 3 times recently and not one cart cut in front of us! ( No one had to ask to play through either - we play pretty quickly ) Played the course a few years ago regularly it was in poor shape and the other players mostly unaware of golf etiquette, finally had enough…

Friendly staff. The pitch and putt course is perfect for my 7 year old. Perfect distance, decent greens, and real sand traps. The miniature golf is like stepping back in time. Old style course that is fun. The driving range is well kept and the balls are in good shape. The pricing on all three is fair. My 7 year old loves the place. We haven't tried the regulation 9 hole course as the youngest age allowed is 12.

I love it excellent place to enjoy golf or miniature golf. Plenty of parking it is across the street from Mavis Discount tire you can get your oil changed and then cross the street to enjoy some miniature golf. It is never packed on a weekday. It’s $8 for Miniature golf.

9 hole course that you go around twice, not great but a good place for a beginner. It's not terribly challenging, has one real long hole, 615 yards, and a few years back they added some deep pot bunkers to some holes. Driving range is decent, has both mat and grass areas available. There is also a 9 hole par 3 course and a mini golf course.

Friendly staff, good value, and enjoyable golf. The grooming and layout are not the greatest, but not bad -- certainly good enough for practice or an informal round, and priced right. The greens were slow, but ran true. The bunkers were spotty, some with good sand and some like concrete. Most of the par-fours are straight and unimaginative; the challenge is their length. My only real complaint is the sixth hole. If they removed two trees in the left side of the dogleg, it would be a good, strong par-5; as it stands, I thought I was playing the windmill hole on the mini-golf course. I played h…

It's a great place for a quick affordable game of golf. The pitch and putt is tired but fun, decently well maintained and consistent. The 9 Hole course is simple (Think lots of long straight holes) but its a fun place to play a quick round. It also doesn't take itself too seriously which is great. You can borrow clubs for just about anything. Definitely recommended for the casual golfer!

This place has gone downhill fast. I would say about 1/3 of the time I go there, they are closed. Even on a Sun at 1pm. They never have enough tees for the mats. Completely unreliable. Find another range. ALSO, they only have tees for 1/3 of the mats so be prepared to spend money on a bucket with a good chance you won't be able to hit off a tee.

This course is convenient for the area and they take good care of the actual greens. But the fairways are in horrible shape and I feel like they overcharge for the state of the course. The pitch n putt is worth the $ and nice to warm up your game in the early months.
