In summary

Tarpon Springs Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained greens and challenging layout featuring water hazards and wildlife, providing a scenic and enjoyable golfing experience. The staff is often praised for their helpfulness and accommodating nature. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play, particularly on weekends, and challenges with booking tee times.

We enjoyed another fun round at this storied course, which has been around for many years. The staff was very helpful and nice. One of our group was running late and they easily accommodated us and allowed us to slip back on the tee sheet and other group ahead of us to keep the flow moving. Greens are in good shape, but beware of the grain- especially on those uphill putts. Tees and fairways also in good shape. Looking forward to seeing the clubhouse renovation or replacement in the next year or so. Beverage cart was seen multiple times during our round to keep us stocked with drinks.

A very nice course. Pro shop staff were nice. My main issue was that the course was way over crowded. For the first nine holes we had to wait at least 5 minutes at each tee. Often longer. No apparent actions by course Marshall which leads me to believe they just overbook the course. When I raised a concern with the marshall at the end of the round he was so dismissive and basically said it was my issue , not theirs. No sense of customer service. Could have said he understood and would take my concerns to the pro shop. Instead he shrugged his shoulders as if to say it was my problem and not his…

Great Value, Fun Back Nine If you’re looking for a flawlessly manicured course this one is not for you. But for $54/person (weekdays) you get maybe one of the best value for an 18 hole par 72 in central Florida. The greens are in good shape, the fairways are average to a bit below average and the rough….well, is quite rough or completely bald. However, the back nine is very interesting and will make you think about your club selection to mitigate the risk of quite a bit of water hazards. We played on a weekday on an overcast and nippy day with some intermittent drizzle so slow play was not an…

Good price for the Tampa Bay Area at $37 + tax. Seems wildly overbooked on the weekends. We waited 10 minutes on every hole, and it never spread out at all. Probably better on weekdays. Course in decent shape. Watch out for errant shots, as greens and tee boxes are on top of each other on several holes. Nice staff.

This review is based upon the staff and Policy - Not the course. There is no way for you to reserve time for a single player. The only way you can find out is by calling or showing up. I was told to go ahead and swing on through. My time was wasted today. They said when I arrived, I couldn’t get out for over an hour.

An affordable and nice golfcourse. Very nice greens which was the best part of the course. An open course with some water, a few bunkers and relative flat and easy fairways. I can recommend this course, if you’re not a very low handicapper, then it’s to easy.

Another fun round at TSGC! Course looks great and the greens are smooth and very firm. Back side is open again and is a challenge that the front doesn't offer....lots of water! The par 5s will eat your lunch thanks to water and green placement. Choose your shots wisely and beware of blasting balls through the doglegs or you be dealing with trees. Love the course, a great city course.

The fairways are in good shape. However the greens have gotten much worse over the last month. Very bumpy and many areas have signs of turf rot. As long as you are ok with not so good green it is a great course layout.

The price is reasonable, However I think they could do a better job on the grounds. Off the fairway is heavy weedy and they're pretty dried up, Very few ball cleaners There should be more garbage cans at the t ares There is a move for a lot of appointments.

Full 18-hole golf course owned and operated by the city of Tarpon. The grounds are very well maintained. Not quite PGA tour level but for a local course. The greens are good. The price is a little high during the season. Rates go lower during the summer.

Tarpon springs golf course is a beautiful place to play golf. Nature combined with a tough layout with water hazards, bunkers, and curvy greens allows for a challenging round. In my 18 hole round I saw alligator, hawks, osprey, ducks, and many more tropical birds. It is now 1 of my favorite courses in the area.
