In summary

The Ridges Golf Club is widely praised for its beautiful mountain setting, well-maintained course, and friendly, accommodating staff. Many visitors appreciate the challenging layout and excellent amenities, including the clubhouse food. However, some guests have experienced issues with customer service, particularly concerning golf cart disputes and rain check policies, and a few have noted inconsistent course maintenance and communication regarding tee times.

Fantastic golf course with great views. Food from the restaurant was solid and the staff were very pleasant to deal with. Course was not busy so my girlfriend and I played a slow round enjoying the weather and scenery and the cart guy Dale was pretty funny and very accommodating. Will 100% be coming back on our next trip up.

I don’t leave reviews but I have to here. We ended a 4 day golf trip in Western NC here. We had a little issue with our cart )totally normal) and the staff went above and beyond. The pro was absolutely amazing. I feel bad I can’t remember his name but I think it’s Mark. The ranger (Jimmie) is hilarious and incredibly kind. The food and drinks at the bar were spectacular with phenomenal service from Jamie (sp?) Beautiful course and great value. I highly recommend playing here if you’re passing through (I assume locals already know how awesome it is). Just know the greens are a little small and…

The course is one of the best I played, generous fairways with blind shots, a hilly course, and greens were in great shape although the pin's placements were almost all downhill, hard to get to them. The staff was attentive and helpful. The price was excellent and the grill was fantastic. Really a beautiful area to explore when not golfing.

Beautiful mountain course. Well maintained, friendly staff, well groomed, great pace of play as well. You just need to keep it in the fairways lol, that tall Bermuda rough is a challenge!

Wow!!! Very nice course. Beautiful scenery! Fairways and greens are in good condition. Layout is fantastic! Take a few extra balls. Sometimes they are difficult to find outside of the fairways. Rough is a little high. Pace of play was good, as well the beverage car was out there. Would definitely recommend it to play!

I couldn't think of a better course to play with my buddies for the boys golf trip. This deserves to be a pga course. The staff are beyond friendly, and the greens keepers deserve a raise. What a phenomenal course. To everyone involved in this course... THANK YOU. You ALL made it a memory I'll never forget

This is our absolute favorite place to golf--and my husband LOVES golf. We feel like it's our best little secret place. We look forward to the beautiful course with its mountains and spectacular homes, but if you don't believe me, don't go. We want people to keep this place successful, but we also wouldn't mind keeping this amazing course as our own little quiet sanctuary.

My family and I recently visited this golf course, driving over two hours based on a prior positive experience at the course. We were looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable round of golf together. During our round, we used Cart #12 without any issues or incidents. After completing our game and returning the cart, we were later contacted by the course and accused of causing significant damage to the golf cart. We were sent photos showing a bent frame, dirt marks, and a missing rubber piece on the windshield. We were shocked by the accusation, as no damage occurred while the cart was in o…

Paid $60 on a Tuesday afternoon. Poured rain on the 9th hole. The course was unplayable. Water everywhere. Asked for a rain check and were told they do not give rain checks unless they decide to close the course. Don't waste your money. There are much better courses in the area. Thanks for the reply. The course was literally running with water. The only decision the Course Superintendent made was to keep my money. There was nothing "casual" about the water unless you were a duck. The course was unplayable as I already stated and the rain continued to pour for the rest of the day

What can I say…. The best golf experience in our lives. Came with a 3 man group.. we were 15 min late to our tee time but the staff and ranger were more than accommodating. Ranger Dave ended up buying us a round. The course was immaculate.. the views the whole experience was something out of this world… can’t wait go back… also the food at the club house was on another level of perfection.

What a beautiful course, very challenging for the first time playing. Sand traps are the only reason for not going with 5 stars, probably about 1" of good sand then hardpan below. Very picturesque layout and great value.

What a gorgeous spot. Not too hard, not too easy, not too steep, not too flat. Right in the Goldilocks zone. Wonderful food and wonderful people too! A must for anyone visiting Western North Carolina.
