Traces Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, with true greens and a variety of layouts across its three nine-hole courses, providing a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all levels. The staff is often described as friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. We really enjoyed this course. We were pleasantly surprised with the great condition of the greens and the course overall. Less than 10 minutes from 95, we will add this to our regular drive-by, drop-in list of courses along 95. The staff was kind, helpful and friendly, as were the other guests. A great find! We will definitely return!

Wonderful PGA Instructors and maintenance staff. Well worth every penny spent and your tip at the snack bar. Every day at Traces is a great day! Come see why this is a great place to practice, play, compete and/or socialize. There are (3) three separate nine hole courses (Meadows/Creekside/Woodlands). What that means is a group or single will not interfere with a scheduled eighteen hole tournament. It even has a few of the amenities that private courses boast without the exorbitant fees. Some think the LPGA G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Times) Mildred "Babe" Zaharias-Dickinson would be pleased. It…

The course is ok. You can tell it gets a lot of play on it and that takes away from the course. The layout is good, but rarely are you able to play Woodlands. The real issue at this course is they have tournaments all the time, which is good for the course itself, but not for other golfers. Additionally, the members are very snobby and will quickly try and bully you. The speed of play when members are present is slow and they have zero etiquette. If you want to enjoy the game of golf , be sure to go when they don’t have a tournament, or members playing (Wednesday afternoons). I’d rather go els…

Our golf group has stopped at Traces the last 2 years on our way to Myrtle beach. Great experience both times. Course conditions were very good. Rates are excellent compared to similar courses. Staff is very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Been golfing here for several years, not a member and I have never had an issue with staff, course, or pace of play. Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from because everyone here is really nice. Something to keep in mind is that yes they are busy but thats what you get for being the best public course around. Just play at a normal pace and don't take forever to hit a shot and you wont have any problems. Love this place!

Course is taken care of but it’s like going to a restaurant with good food with horrible service. The front desk staff and ranger there are absolutely disrespectful and show no good customer service skills. I’ve spent a ton of money there in the past hosting and sending all of my clients out for golf in the past but I will never do it again. Traces Golf Club YOU NEED TO DO BETTER! The staff you’ve hired is horrible to say the least! It takes a lot for me to review poorly and I didn’t hesitate leaving this review after the fiasco I witnessed this week.

The course is great. The greens are in good shape. Fairways are dry, but it's early and we've not had much rain. Good for all levels.

This place has no idea how to manage tee times or pace of play. Wanted to play nine and they were "booked" with three starting holes with not a soul in sight. Absurd! Your team needs to do better D.J.!
