In summary

Turtle Bay Resort on Oʻahu's North Shore receives high praise for its stunning location, exceptional service, and well-maintained facilities, including beautiful rooms, a massive gym, and multiple pools. Guests appreciate the attentive and friendly staff, as well as the diverse dining options, particularly at Roy's Beach House. Some visitors note that certain areas of the property feel slightly dated, and the concierge lounge offerings could be improved, but overall, the resort is considered a memorable and worthwhile destination.

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton O‘ahu Turtle Bay (Hawaii) from January 2–4 for two nights, and this was hands down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was on another level. Truly exceptional. Every single staff member was warm, attentive, and proactive — anything we needed was handled immediately and graciously. At one point, my son had a little fall in the room. I called the lobby, and within minutes someone came up with a first aid kit, brought two ice packs (one for the moment and one for later), and made sure he was okay. That…

The property is located on two beautiful bays on the North Shore. Stayed Feb 26. They upgraded me to a King Suite using NUA's with Bonvoy. They also gave me a 4pm checkout which was great. The Roy Yamaguchi onsite restaurant is fantastic as well. The location is epic, but the property feels tired. In the main store they had buckets out to catch rainwater as the hotel leaks. I thought the concierge lounge was pathetic. I was thinking of all of the M Club and other free concierge lounges I have visited in the last several years and all of them had better fruit. How can you not have eatable pinea…

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton Oʻahu, Turtle Bay was truly memorable. The grounds are stunning and expansive, and the pool area is absolutely amazing—easily one of the highlights of the property. Dining at Roy’s Beach House was a treat, with delicious food and a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. The service throughout the resort was excellent: attentive, friendly, and consistently thoughtful. The rooms, while comfortable and perfectly good, didn’t quite reach the level we usually expect from a Ritz-Carlton, but they certainly didn’t detract from the overall experience. The massive gym was a fantas…

Such an amazing hotel!!! What a beautiful property! All rooms have a wonderful view, backed by the calming and gentle roar of the North Shore waves. It is a front row seat to nature’s majesty! Loved the bars, restaurants and shopping. Exceptional service from every aspect! Our 10 yr old grandsons loved the private surfing lessons and Surf with a Pup! This hotel is definitely worth the drive and they do a marvelous job of catching the North Shore culture and spirit.

We booked our travel through Costco and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We get kind of uncomfortable staying at high end posh places but never at one time did anyone look down upon us. We felt valued and appreciated. We were free upgraded to a higher level room and were given an anniversary gift by the hotel. We took advantage of the free bike use and swam and used the hot tub. The breakfasts at the Alaia were amazing. The staff from front desk to housekeeping all were friendly. The open air of the lobby is so nice. Our bed was super comfortable and being able to leave our wind…

We didn't stay here, but I imagine the rooms and facilities are fantastic as it's a Ritz-Carlton. We just went to the semi-public beach which was AMAZING! Saw a turtle in Turtle Bay so it lived up to the name. Definitely bring some water shoes because rocks. The reef is something you can walk out on if you have foot protection and a bit of adventure. The waves are beautiful.

I would recommend this hotel to any couple looking for a honeymoon or just a dreamy getaway! We came based on glowing recommendations from friends and co-workers, and honestly—it was the BEST decision ever. The staff? Insanely friendly. The property? Absolutely stunning. Yes, it’s the Ritz, so it’s on the pricier side—but you’re in Hawaii, and trust me, you get every penny worth of magic. The food across all the restaurants and bars was phenomenal, and for anyone who’s celiac or gluten-free, they go above and beyond to make sure you’re covered. Bonus: there’s even a grocery store 15 minutes a…

Beautiful resort. Didn't get a chance to stay the night, but enjoyed the restaurant and beach. The food is delicious and the ocean views are amazing. We enjoyed snorkeling in the lagoon area too, finding so many fun fish. All staff were super friendly and talkative. Can't wait to try and make it back again to stay on the property.

The Ritz-Carlton Oʻahu, Turtle Bay is truly perfection for our family. This is our fourth stay, and somehow it gets better every single time. What makes this place extraordinary is the people. Cherae is simply the best there is. We are ohana now. She has watched our daughter grow up, remembers our family, and makes every visit feel deeply personal and meaningful. That kind of connection is rare and priceless. Long live Cherae and her amazing colleagues. The service is consistently top-class—warm, attentive, and genuine. The rooms are beautifully renovated, modern, luxurious, and incredibly c…

Honestly, the only thing “Ritz” about this hotel is the name. This is definitely not a Ritz-level experience and absolutely not a 5-star hotel. At valet, we were told that self-parking and valet cost the same. That was misleading, because self-parking is actually completely free and located right next to the hotel. When we checked into our room late at night, we were greeted with a nasty surprise: a rusty shower and strange stains on the toilet. Is this really something you expect to see at a Ritz? Because I don’t. The next day, I went to the front desk and showed photos of the shower to th…

Beautiful property and a great experience. If you haven’t been here before I would just like to note that it’s quite a drive from many of the other O’ahu attractions. I’d recommend staying here if you are simply looking g to relax or golf.

Nice overall, room view was lovely. Would I say worth the money you pay? probably not. Sunshine from the front desk when we checked in, was very very welcoming. Yoga with Rachel was lovely, very beautiful energy. Andy from valet, was super cool. Other than that or them, nothing too wow about it.
