In summary

Hawaii Country Club offers an affordable and relaxed golfing experience with friendly staff and scenic views of the ocean and mountains. The course is appreciated for its laid-back atmosphere and open tee times, making it ideal for casual play. However, some visitors note that the course and facilities are in need of maintenance, with bumpy cart paths and dry fairways being common concerns. The club also features a popular disc golf course, though some players find the layout confusing and the pricing high.

If you want the most beautiful course in Hawaii, with the most intricate design and we'll tailored greens, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a quality course at a decent price, with open tee times and no rushed play, this is definitely the course for you. This is the type of course I'd play if I was looking to knock back six with the boys while crushing some golf balls. Disc golf players will also be playing through your game.

If you aren’t local you can’t beat these prices. The course is a bit lacking on the water schedule but it was a fun round. I got in 28 holes and enjoyed the pace and relatively easy play. You could get lost from hole to the next but they include a handy booklet that explained each hole and had a great map. The Marshal, John, was most awesome. Two thumbs up for helping me out and made the day great. He has great stories too. The front staff were extremely friendly too. They are opening up for frisbee golf too so an alternative for those non-golfers that want to enjoy the greens.

Beautiful course for disc golf! You will need UDisc as there is no signage pointing where to go but that’s no big deal. They set up the course very well and I would say it’s definitely worth the price since you get a golf cart as well. Watch out for the water hazard though, I lost a disc that I’d just bought at the club house cause I didn’t see it 🥲 Great staff and a sweet layout!

came here for disc golf and it was a great time. called in advance for a reservation but i dont think it was really necessary. we were the first ones on the course at 7am. beautiful views fun holes and nice baskets. tee boxes are a bit sketchy because they are plywood so in the morning dew they are slippery and hazardous but you can just throw in the vicinity of the tee for better footing. the ball golf course and facilitites have seen better days but the disc golf experience is amazing. people working there were super friendly and the prices were reasonable. there is a pro shop to buy discs,…

I bet this course was great in its prime, but it is not playable nowadays. It looks like someone went around and peeled all the grass out one by one to make a dirt race track. If you wanna go have fun offroading the golf cart then this is your place.

If you are visiting the island and looking to play golf without breaking the bank you will love this course. Views of the ocean, mountains, waikiki and diamond head. Great food at the club house and at the turn. Every person on the staff I encountered was extremely helpful and kind. I had a 12:50 tee time and played 18 (with a stop at the turn) in under 3 hours. I had an absolute blast and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Relaxing, quick round on a Sunday! This course is short -- but not like an executive course. Plenty of holes to break out the long stick, and plenty of holes requiring great shot shaping. I enjoyed the variety of dogleg and blind shot holes! Not a bad course for beginners, but seasoned golfers will still find a challenge. The greens/fairways aren't what you'll find at turtle bay.. but, for the price this course is more than worth it. The staff & everyone on the course was very friendly.

I came to Oahu on vacation and took the opportunity to play 18 at several local courses. So far I have played Kapolei, Royal Hawaiian, and now Hawaii Country Club. If you show up expecting this course to be extremely well kept, with smooth greens and watered fairways you're going to have a bad time. However, if you show up simply to have fun and enjoy the day, you'll have the time of your life. While it may not offer the same breathtaking scenery as many of the more expensive local courses, it was by far the most enjoyable round of golf I have probably ever played. I don't often leave reviews,…

Ok so this is what many people would call a dog track. It's not in great shape, the greens are bumpy, the cart paths are terrible and the layout is kind of hokey. Its around 5500 yards so it's pretty short. That said, it's cheap and it's not crowded. So if you aren't a good golfer and just want to go putz around with your friends and have a good time, then this is a good deal. There are some great views and you can see Diamond Head from the 2nd tee. So I'm giving it 4 stars because it's a good value.

This course was not the most beautiful but certainly affordable. The cart paths can get a bit bumpy and there are plenty of difficult turns that you really need to slow down for. This was the perfect course for a warm up round.

They have an awesome 18 hole disc golf course, also allowing you to rent carts during the game. Had a great time.

Good value... interesting layout, not busy, nice greens, moderate greens fee. The fairways are in fair to poor condition however, and the facilities are in need of updating.
