I thought I had played bad courses before, but nope this takes the cake. ✅ grass growing in every clay bunker ✅ sand as part of the greens ✅ crab grass fairways (not even part of the fairways, just all fairways are all crabgrass.) ✅ greens with crater marks everywhere ✅ greens that have grass that seemed like actual fairway rather than a green ✅ super rude old man working the pro shop (if you can call it that) I mean just everything about this course was terrible. Having come to North Carolina from Maryland, I decided to bring my husband to play some golf. We love traveling to different golf course courses and challenging ourselves. When we first arrived, we noticed how unkept the grounds were, But because we had driven an hour from our hotel, we continued. Once we got to the front of the establishment, we were unpleasantly greeted with a hateful Trump flag. My Husband is African-American and I am Latina. Beautiful and relatively easy 18 hole public course at an amazing price. The greens are very slow, but your approach shots will always land soft. Very cool par 3 Hole #4 with a water feature. I’d recommend this course to everyone from beginners to pros, very fun course.

Played here for the first time ever today. The fairways are nice and open, the greens were really soft and good to putt on. There’s about 3-4 greens that are under maintenance, but it shouldn’t take too long to fix. Overall I hit the ball great and really enjoyed the layout of the course. I highly recommend for someone who wants a hidden gem of a course!

Set up an online tee time for my group. Get out there to play and was told all the tee times online were messed up. They also said I was called to be informed our time was cancelled the day before. Got no call or email saying this. Then was told a voicemail was left, take a guess. No voicemail…Pretty disappointed with how that was handled…. Fun course when you can play.

First time playing here it seemed like it was worth the price. Second time we where told we could play 18 as long as we where there by 3:45 then they proceeded to tell us to leave when we had 3 holes left at the end of our game and we kept pace the entire time and were on track to finsh under the time they say it takes to run 18 we will not return. I will choose to spend more money and go to courses that have better hospitality.

I enjoyed the very friendly staff. The course is very well priced. The course is challenging but fun and the staff is working hard to fix the greens that grass didn’t grow back on this season. Even the greens that weren’t in the best shape were playable.

DONT PLAY HERE!!! Worst course in North Carolina. I have played here 3 times and it was a mistake. Always having to wait on mowers and the fairways, greens and, ruff are still the longest in the country. They don’t know how to bag clippings because there are mountains of them all over there he course. Rude staff in the pro shop to put icing on the cake. I wouldn’t play here again for free. P.S Saw your little comment that’s not how you run a business :(. You don’t mock customers that did not enjoy your product. DO BETTER

Great experience! Very friendly staff. The course is in very good shape and you can tell they have put a lot of work into the course overall, especially the greens.

WORST COURSE IN NORTH CAROLINA THAT I HAVE EVER PLAYED AT!! $35 is cheap but not even worth it on this course when the greens are Sandboxes!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR KONEY HERE!!

I played this course the other day for the first time. It doesn't deserve the bad reviews some have posted. Its a public course, and I liked the layout. Any time I can play a course and have a couple of birdie opportunities and make a couple of pars is fine by me. With that said, I would've given it four stars, except that the pro shop smelled really bad.. like a cat litter box.

Course does NOT honor tee times made online!! Will NOT let you have riders. Girl at the desk has a real attitude problem.
