In summary

Course is in excellent condition all around: tees, fairways, greens and bunkers. The greens showed some faint signs of the spring aeration but they rolled true. There's a good variety of shots: elevated tees, blind tee shots, elevated greens, downhill approaches, good bunkering. All in all an interesting play.

Round was good and course was in pretty good shape. Left my wallet in the cart after the round (I know, my fault) and called the pro-shop and circled back within 15 minutes. Got my wallet back, but all of my cash was missing out of my money clip. Cart was left with the employees so there is only really one way that the cash went missing. Said something about it and they looked for the cash but couldn’t find it, and claimed that there was no cash in the clip when they found it.

Beautiful course and friendly staff. It’s challenging yet playable for all levels. And if you just want to hit a bucket of balls, the driving range is very accessible.

My tee time was noon, I paid $82 on a Saturday, the person in front of me had an 11:50 tea time, he paid $82 and got a free bucket of balls no free range balls after 12 that's not fair. The course is in great condition as they were setting up for a Junior tournament. The greens are fast oh, and the rough was thick, definitely a fun course to play... today I played it was $75 and it was cart path only

Very friendly staff. I played with the greens keeper, which was very helpful as he explained why they used fans on certain holes and the special seats on hole 15 (I think) that we’re the stones used in the original capital building. Interesting history and beautiful course.

Can be a challenging course to play from the back tees at times but overall is in good condition most of the time considering the amount of local play it gets. Prices are good and you will certainly get a good workout if you walk it!

My daughters learned golf here with Coach Almay as part of The First Tee program and enjoyed her classes. There is mix of players young and old that use this golf course. Bathroom facilities are well kept and clean. We never had any issue with parking.

AVOID, Avoid this course. It was definitely not worth $68 during the week. The starter held us up to go behind 4 walkers who's foursome was not all there for over 20 min. even though there was no one near the tee box ready to go. and after he let a threesome go 20 minutes earlier as I waited for my golf buddy. This backs up the course. and held us up for no reason that we could think of.The fairways, are very badly spotted, and greens have almost no grass even though they aerated they are in terrible shape. The rough while it is rough is the best part of this course. The carts are electronical…

Overpriced muni. Great layout, good practice greens, decent greens on the course, but they have 5 different types of grass on their fairways and rough making for a completely inconsistent feel and lousy fairway conditions. Driving range looks like Tin Cup: shag balls are dead and expensive, mats are dead and most of the grass is dead on the range. Why pay $75 to ride in the am weekdays when Worthington or Oak Creek is the same price and you can play on much nicer conditions?

I love "The U". Golf Shop staff are fantastic. Driving Range is my go to, as well as putting/chipping.
