In summary

Williamsburg National Golf Club is highly praised for its well-maintained courses, particularly the Yorktown and Jamestown layouts, which offer a challenging and enjoyable experience with fast greens and unique hole designs. The staff receives commendations for their friendliness and helpfulness, enhancing the overall experience. Some visitors note minor issues such as tee boxes under repair and occasional wet conditions, but these do not significantly detract from the overall positive experience. The club's amenities, including a grass driving range and a restaurant with good food, add to its appeal.

We played each of the two courses on back to back days after getting rounds in a charity auction. Both courses were fun but Yorktown was our top. Beautiful tree lined holes, felt very private, many unique holes, well placed traps. The greens on both courses were lightning fast which made them quite challenging. We enjoyed the grass driving range and the ready made food in the clubhouse was decent. The made to order food others were eating looked great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our rounds here!

Played both courses this past weekend (October 25th & 26th) and had an outstanding experience. The courses were in excellent condition, and the entire staff — from the pro shop to the restaurant — was friendly and accommodating. A special shoutout to the starters on both days, who were especially helpful and welcoming to us first-timers at the course. Their guidance made a great first impression and set the tone for two fantastic rounds. Can’t wait to come back!

Here is the best golf course I've ever been to. Stunning, beautiful and everyting you would think it would be-historic course(Jamestown, Yorktown), amazing grounds, good people, friendly and kind staffs. I always enjoy golf here. My feeble attempts to describe this experience make it unbearable to be there. It was a really great experience!! Photos of the course to follow. This is fantastic golf paradise!!!

Everybody was great. The golf was good, but the course is a little dry.

A pleasant casual setting for lunch as well as dinner. The club louse has a large covered patio for dining as well. I recommend this location for private dining, corporate or medium sized group get togethers too.

I really enjoyed both the courses. Tees fairways and greens ante is great condition. I prefer the Jamestown look and feel.

One of the best kept courses I've played. I played on Yorktown and enjoyed it. Fairways were in good condition. All the bunkers except one were in good condition. The greens were in better condition than my local places.

Oct 2022 -Jamestown and Yorktown course conditions are the best we've played since we started playing here in 2013. Greens are smooth and fast, fairways well grassed and maintained and rough not too punitive. As always, all staff are friendly, courteous and accommodating. Oct 2023 - Played Yorktown course 5 times the last two weeks. Drier than last year. Overseeded recently. Greens in very good shape. Ate lunch at the 1607 Grill twice. Very good food for the money and large portions. Servers are friendly and attentive. The signature burger is monster size. French toast has 4 super chunky slice…

Completely unrecognizable from old ownership in the mid-2000’s. Having the Yorktown course to go along with the original Jamestown gives it two of the best courses in Williamsburg. Quality improves yearly and membership has soared.
