In summary

Willow Creek Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, scenic layout, and top-notch practice facilities. Many visitors commend the friendly and professional staff, although some have experienced issues with staff enforcing pace of play, which some found excessive. Despite a few complaints about pricing and staff interactions, the overall quality of the course and amenities receives positive feedback.

This has become my new home course, and I couldn’t be happier about it. I think it’s the best course in the area and rivals any private course in quality when it comes to maintenance. The staff in the proshop are fantastic. Always so professional and kind. I find myself chatting it up with them if no one else is there. I’ve read a number of reviews about them hassling people for pace of play, but I’ve never experienced that once nor seen them do it to anyone else. Pace of play here has always been tremendous even on weekends. The practice facilities are top notch and have everything you cou…

Only played the front 9. The course was in great condition. Greens were consistent, true, and fast. Never a bad lie in the fairway. Pace of play was good. I enjoyed the layout. Well manicured property overall.

Course is awesome. Well maintained. Staff are terrible. They will (in anything but a polite manner) take away your cart if you have more than 2 carts per group (even though one of our carts was for a handicapped player), because they're always "short on carts". Then hound you every 3 holes that you're 4-5 minutes behind, even though there's no one behind you. I won't pay $75+ to be hassled for 18 holes. There are plenty of other great courses in and around Knoxville that are far more enjoyable.

Absolutely ridiculous. Paid $75 to play here and got treated like we were an inconvenience the entire time. Staff was flat-out rude constantly riding us about pace of play every 3 minutes, even though there was no one behind us. We were told to “play ready golf” like we were in some kind of rush job. For that price, I expect a decent experience, not to be harassed the whole round. Plenty of other courses around that don’t treat paying customers like garbage. Never coming back.

Golf course was in immaculate condition. Staff found out we were from out of town and rangers showed up on a couple holes and told us target lines/distances. Price was more than fair, highly recommend!

Basically one of my favorite golf courses every to play at. The reason why it is 4 stars and not 5 stars is the prices of the green fees are way too expensive and that's why I have not played there since September. Outside of that the atmosphere and staff along with the people are simply great people.

I’ll never play here again. The people that work there are snobs, the people that play there are snobs. If I had to hear another person tell me to speed up, then get yelled at by players in front of me as I hit into them, it’s ridiculous. Horrible experience. When you drive by and you think that is a gorgeous course, just know that is golf course Hell. Their number one objective is to make sure you do not have a good time. And I’m a fast player. And they still rushed me. They should dump golf karts for race cars. I’ll never play there again. Even for a charity tournament. Not worth the headac…

The course was in great shape and the greens were true and on the fast side. There was no one to greet us or help with the carts at check-in which I found odd for a nicer golf course. The front nine went smoothly with no backups or issues. The back started off well then we hit the par 3 on 12 and there were 3 groups backed up. After playing the next few holes it was obvious why, there was a lot of water and people were definitely finding it. It got better on 15 and the rest was fine. definitely a course I would play again if I am back in Knoxville.

Very well maintained and beautiful course but the course rangers and staff are on a power trip can hardly enjoy a single hole with a foursome without them rushing us and trying to tell us how to play our game. we were at a great pace we even caught up to the group ahead of us and they were still rushing us. Also only gives you 5 minutes after the front to get food and refreshments. made the experience very unpleasant. it’s never an issue at any other of the best courses in knoxville. I really liked the layout of the course and would have been a much better time had we not been rushed.

Wow, very nice first 6 holes ! Unfortunately we had to stop play due to Lightening in the area. Looking forward to playing 9 more holes with my Rain Check. Staff were very professional and informative. The had food and drinks inside, nice clubhouse atmosphere. There was a beverage cart on the course; also very nice and professional, and they had alcohol to relax your golf swing !!
