Dead Horse Lake Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, scenic water views, and reasonable pricing, offering a pleasant golfing experience with friendly staff. The course layout, including its challenging features and driving range, adds to its appeal. Beautiful course. Plenty of holes with nice water views. During peak season the greens are nice and well maintained. Players are generally very respectful of pace of play and because of that you arent pressured by the staff to play faster. One of my favorites in the area.

Awesome course, great bang for your buck— has a high class feel for 50$. My local 9 hole is 40$ and it’s not even in the same league as this place. Kind staff and well maintained course. Only complaint I have, today there was a 15 minute behind pace warning and a ranger was not around to enforce it

It's been a few years since playing here and unfortunately today was in some heavy rain. That said, the course was in great shape, tee boxes were great, the greens were in excellent shape and rolled very well. And so nice to be at a driving range where you can hit off the grass. Staff is always pleasant and add to a great experience.

I've played this course several times and I thoroughly enjoy it. Nice atmosphere, I wish they had a little more food selection but I enjoy playing the course

I tried this golf course for the first time. Being a new player, it was challenging. I would play again at this course. Lots of bodies of waters and hills. The greens were not in good shape, but probably had to do with the time of year.

Greens and fairways are in great shape. Bermuda grass off the fairways is deep and makes it extremely difficult to find or advance your ball if you miss the fairway.

Don't even bother making a tee time!! Way offer priced for the experience that you get. If you work and have to go in the evening you always have 2 other groups with you. I have yet to finish a whole 18 holes on this course. The owner has to stop being cheap and get a starter.

No markers to tell how far from the pin you are. Bring reading glasses so you can look at the tiny map on the back of your score card. You're probably better off closing your eyes and hitting the ball than you are guessing where the pin is at when shooting over a hill. No cart girl either. The price to play says everything you need to know about the course.

Nice layout, many blind shots. The rough can swallow your ball. Great carts, friendly staff

We scheduled to play 2 weeks in advanced with family. They placed us in front of a golf league, forced us to skip 2 holes, and we finished 9 holes in under an hour. Would not recommend this course.

This is a classic Knoxville course. It's been around for a while and I have been enjoying it since I was a teenager. Fairways and greens look spectacular. The grass is green and lush. The price is reasonable. An interesting thing I just realized, I don't think the course has a single sand trap. At least today I didn't spend any time in them. Water is a different story.
