In summary

Willow Creek Municipal Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained grounds, picturesque setting, and approachable staff, offering a fun and affordable experience, especially for beginners and amateurs. The course's layout, featuring a creek and no sand traps, provides a mix of easy and challenging play. However, some visitors mention issues with slow pace of play due to large groups and occasional scheduling mishaps with tee times.

Great local golf course. Easy to play. The course is well maintained. Prices are very reasonable especially if you have a membership. The staff is very loose on course rules. You get a lot of large groups that hold up the course and so people have to jump holes to get around these large slow groups that are just having a good time. It’s annoying to play sometimes but we also like the casual feel of the course. So you take the good with the bad. Also, because the staff is so loose with rules your tee times are not always as scheduled and people just play whenever they get there so the holes get…

Really nice muni course with a good layout—no sand, but a creek that crosses at several points. Online tee times with a discount which is a plus! The course is in good shape this early in the season. Very walkable. The staff in the office is very welcoming. We look forward to coming back several times while we’re in town!

Very well kept course!! The greens are in great shape with some interesting breaks & speeds on some greens!! I would recommend any golfer that spends time in the area give it a try!!! I would also challenge any local golfer to write a better review!!!

Great course in fantastic shape. Water comes into play on several holes to make it challenging. Bill, Shane and Al work hard to keep it nice for you. I only wish more golfers would fix their ball marks on the greens and replace their divots.

I like this course, but if you are a good player, you have to kind of adjust the scoring. The short par 4s are kind of like 3.5s and the short 5 is like a pros par 4. On the other hand, they let the rough grow (if you play it down) and most of the evergreen trees do not have lower branches that are cut off like some courses, making it deceptively tougher. So consider it a par 34 and embrace it. I would put 5 stars but many of the tees are not flat, having the ball higher than your feet.

It's a nice 9 hole course with good greens. The par 4's are short but fun to play, and a creek running through adds some challenge. You'll enjoy it, and appreciate the green fees!

Nice course in a picturesque countryside setting. No bunkers. Approachable and friendly staff. Helps to go early for tee times. No golf carts after 6pm.

Carts need to be in by 745PM so employee can take one out to get 9 in. Overall poor condition course very boggy, bumps everywhere, looks like it's been a month since they moved the pins as the grass was growing into the holes on most greens.

Great course. It is very well-maintained, and a really fun track for a 9-hole course in a small town. I highly recommend it.
