In summary

Amelia Island Golf Resort is frequently praised for its stunning ocean views, friendly and attentive staff, and excellent amenities, including a well-maintained pool area and tranquil spa. Guests appreciate the convenient beach access and the quality of the food, particularly the breakfast buffet. However, some visitors have noted that the rooms appear dated and could benefit from updates, and there are occasional concerns about noise and high prices for certain services and amenities.

The service was top tier from Tim our amazing Bellhop who was kind enough to leave us a parting gift to Bella at the lobby bar. Tim was packed with information about the island and fishing. The Room itself was clean, comfy though a bit dated but had an amazing ocean front view (as all rooms do). The hotel is renovating and I dont think ours was touched yet. It was too cold to enjoy the pool area but it was aesthetically pleasing with fire pits. All food was great averaging $30 pp per meal or higher. One of the best breakfast buffets ever. Room service was super fast each time. The recently ren…

Our recent stay at Omni Amelia Island was extremely disappointing and far below the standard we’ve consistently experienced at other Omni properties. At check-in, we were not recognized as Select Guests — something that has never happened to us at any Omni. We were initially told noon was the latest possible checkout, and only after mentioning our Icon level status was late checkout extended to 4:00 p.m. The interaction felt uncomfortable rather than welcoming. Unfortunately, the issues continued in our first room. We found a bug crawling on a feather pillow (despite my profile noting no fea…

The positives first: the view from all rooms on the ocean is amazing. Also the pool area facing the ocean, plus the private access paths to the beach are great. The lobby has been renovated and look nice. The negatives: for the price charged you would just expect better. The rooms are nothing special beside the views. The walls are very thin, so it’s pretty noisy. The breezeways are not enclosed so the hallways are cold and exposed like in a motel. The restaurant offer mediocre food for hefty price points. What disappointed me most was the fact that they upcharge you for everything. You pay a…

I fell in love with this place. I went on whim & now want to make it a quarterly solo-retreat. While it is very family friendly with an excellent pool deck, I only wanted the peace of ocean views / access & the hope of being able to park my car and not use it again until checkout. The rooms were excellent, the staff throughout the site and service is outstanding. The food was excellent!!! (Add the breakfast option @ Florabella) I received far more for my $'s worth at Omni Amelia Island.

If I could give more than 5 stars for service I would. The staff at the Omni were some of the nicest I have ever encountered at a hotel. It seemed like everyone was willing to go above and beyond to help us. We had a small issue with our room after we arrived that was taken care of by the time in less than an hour. Not only did they take care of it, but they followed up with us to make sure it was taken care of. My husband and I were here for a conference and we really enjoyed our stay. A lot of hotels advertise a "heated pool", but most of the time, the heat is minimal at best. I was quite pl…

Went the Omni for new years eve. Let's start with the staff, from pulling up to checking out the staff was fantastic, better then other high end properties in the area we've been too. The evening event was pretty well managed, but I think they need to spend more time thinking through the s'mores, as the children were fairly unruly around the fire pits. The pool area is very nice, and access to beach is fantastic. Now for the down side, the rooms are pretty worn and need some serious updating. We loved the on-site shops and restaurants, they were very convenient. All in all, this is a good reso…

Omni is one of the classiest resorts. 5 stars isn’t enough. The quality down to the detail is exceptional. Gorgeous main lobbies. Exquisite amenities. Desirable locations. And the friendliest staff! I want to give a special shout out to Lindsey Holmes, the absolute best bartender, and respectfully request she gets an honorable mention (or even a raise). Well done!

Incredible ocean view with palm trees. So gorgeous! The room was nice and clean, spacious, with a huge shower and tub. It didn’t come with a microwave but upon request you can have one brought up easy. The service by the pool is great- they would come up asking if we needed anything every time they walked by. Super kind. Amazing piña coladas by the pool. They also have delicious crunchy French fries. The front desk and valet service was also super friendly and helpful- offering us free waters, opening car doors, helping us with our bags, giving us free drink tickets for the bar. All very nice.…

Beautiful location Staff is a little.. Interesting. Seemed like we were one of very few people here at the time (it was not busy at all) Went to the morning breakfast a bit late but was told that they stay opened later. Then over heard some employees complaining that we sat down late. Then they started to argue about whether or not we should be able to eat more than one serving 😅 I conceded politely as I don't want to be the cause of someone else's stress during my own vacation They closed the door to the buffet and then later realized the awkwardness of charging for the full experience. The r…

Stayed for 3 nights during Amelia Island Concours D'Elegance. Convenient to the auto show at the Ritz-Carlton, the Omni sits on 1,350 acres and 3.5 miles of beach front, offering lots of activities as well as golfing within beach views, and several eateries within the vast property borders. We tried Nonna Mia restaurant, but the experience is not recommended. Besides very high prices, food was mediocre at best. Service was peculiar, and I had to return my entree of Eggplant Parmesan, which was for me- inedible. Ambience was fine. Room was fair, bathroom was not nice, way below standard of typi…

We’ve stayed here four or five times prior and have always been huge fans of the property. Unfortunately this months visit has fallen short of our past experiences. Our room this trip was noticeably sub-par. We were unaware that we would be placed on a very active construction floor, and the location is the furthest possible from the lobby. To reach our room, we’ve had to walk around cardboard boxes, picture frames on the floor, standing water, and sheets of plastic. There was also a very strong paint odor in the room, which my wife is sensitive to. Additionally, we were gone from 9 a.m. whi…
